This number calls almost daily, never leaves a message; and when I call back, I get a "cannot completed as dialed" recording.

Your solution only goes so far and will work for only legitimate calls.  It does not work for spoofed numbers, because they change every time they make a call.  I'm glad it appears to work for you, but overall, it's just another $40-60 wasted!

I'm on the DNC list and when this number is called back it's a number that is "not in service".
Do your job and get rid of these scammers!

They usually call twice a day and never leave a message. Since legitimate organizations mostly follow the DNC rules you can assume these calls are from scammers. My rule is, never answer the phone for any unknown caller. If the unknown caller is legitimate, he or she will leave a message.

Enough already....this number has got to stop calling me and then nobody there if I answer. I am on the National Do Not Call list.

I picked up the phone when a call came from this number around 11:30 a.m.  The caller asked for my husband by name.  I asked if she were a telemarketer, and she said that she was calling on behalf of a non-profit that he supports.  I replied that he doesn't support non-profits that call him.  She said, "have a happy Thanksgiving." (not in a very nice tone of voice)

As above, multiple calls, no msg.  I know from the area code that it's Western PA.  How can they keep calling if I'm on the do not call registery?

Someone/something from this number calls me multiple times a day every day, and when I answer they/it hang up. The caller ID says "Turtle Creek, PA".

Another way to get back at them is to answer and say yes when they ask for someone and then set the phone down and walk away.... Won't take you off the list but its fun to see how long they wait for someone to pickup the phone.... We do have a call blocking phone and it is awesome!!!!!!

Got several calls from this number. No message.  Finally I answered,  they asked for my husband,   he said he was  "Bill Marple"  but would not state company or business.   Would not talk to me either.  
We are on the do not call list,  have no debt.

They call every day, at least once.

That's a pretty good idea, but many of the calls I get are apparently from the same company (because the recordings are identical).  However, my Caller ID lists a different (probably spoofed) number each time and blocking one wouldn't stop another.  I wish I knew how to find out the real number.  I use *57 Call Trace, but the phone company won't give me any other information.  I'm told that I have to contact my local "law enforcement" agency.  Well, the Chicago Police just laugh when I ask for their help.

I get sometimes 2-3 calls per day, for weeks now.  I pick up sometimes to tell them to stop calling me and nobody is there.  How do I make it stop? I'm also on the DO NOT CALL list.

Daily Caller but no one is there, when answered. I am on the do not call list!

I am receiving calls everyday from this number.  I know no one from this area code and am on the "Do Not Call" list.

i forgot to mention that caller ID comes up as 'turtle Creek PA"  nothing useful found there....

i have gotten 15 calls in the last two weeks and some before that as well.  each time the person - a real voice - asks for me even though it is clearly voice mail.  no identifying information.  i am now trying to block the calls since it is se annoying!

Several calls received over several weeks.

They call periodically, but I only notice it when sitting at my desk and the light blinks on my land-line.

I don't answer that phone... ever. The ringer is turned off and that line goes directly into the fax auto-answer on my multi-purpose printer.

Family and I only use cell phones for everything else.

This number called me today but did not leave a message. So does anyone know who that can be? Cannot be a collector in my case ... no debt. But it's annoying receiving phone calls from companies who I do not know. No time that s***.

Twice in two days. Either non-ethical marketing or political campaign (same thing!)

Called every day for the last 2 weeks. Phone rings 2 or 3 times.
I only answer numbers that I know. If the caller will not leave a message stating there business, they will never hear from me. The Panasonic call blocking phone works great until you reach the maximum of 50 numbers, as we did during the last political campaign.

I have my phone line hooked to a caller ID modem in my computer and run a free program called phonetray just google it... blocks unknown na.. All they have to is call once and I will never hear from them again there blocked if I so choose. Works great.. I use phonetray for my business... Once I filed for my DBA tax license the calls came like crazy...

CALLED AT 7:26 pm.  NO MESSAGE LEFT.

Call blocking phones are very inexpensive $40-$60 and they come with, at least, one wireless handset.  Very, very convenient.

They work beautifully!  These phones also block ?PRIVATE?, ?OUT OF AREA? and "UNKNOWN" calls!!!
I have had the same home number and the same business phone number for over 15 years and my home and my business lines (both published) seem to be on every call list imaginable.  I bought a Panasonic call blocking phone for my home and I bought a Uniden call blocking telephone for my business.

NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH TELEMARKETERS.  THEY CAN?T GET THROUGH!
