This is the second time I have received this call.  The first time, I spoke with a human who told me there was a problem with my mother's prescription plan and that they needed to talk with her.  Due to an illness, she is not able to handle these things.  I explained that to him and he told me he couldn't talk to me but that I should call Medicare to get some more information.  After spending quite some time on the phone with Medicare, they determined that I needed more information as to what the issue was, as they weren't seeing any issues on their end.  When I tried the number back, I got an answering machine for a company that was not United Health Care.  Thankfully I did not give them any personal information.

Caller ID shows United Health Care. No way to get a human so I hung up. Will be filing a complaint with the FTC do Not Call list and the Illinois Attoney General. They wanted personal information, which I NEVER give out.

I got a call from them 2 times in the day. I am also on the Do Not Call List..

If you have an Android phone you can get  "Call Blocker" program.
When you get junk like this you add it to a list and set it so that it does nothing.  It won't even ring.
There are probably similar programs for other smart phones.

Got another call from 412-773-8553.  No message.  I am on the DNC list.

Got a call from a man who's phone number was 412-773-8553 saying he was trying to find if the person he was  looking for was home. When told the person was at work the man said the purpose of the call was to find out if the peson had voted. That is some line for a bill collector who was calling from out of state. Also my number is on the do not call list and it was not me the guy was looking for.

We have been receiving 2-4 calls a day from this agency. With caller ID, we don't pick up call and no message is left. How do we stop this?

The comments on that blog suggest calling the main number for Outreach Associates 412-381-2300 and requesting to speak to a supervisor, who will remove you from their lists and tell you what organization put your number into their database in the first place.  Apparently, they'll do this very politely, but it's still a waste of time to have to do that just to enjoy freedom from telemarketer harassment you never opted-in for.

Got a call from this number and from 412 773 8581.  Outreach associates is the DBA of Direct Advantage Marketing in Pittsburgh.  It's a commercial fundraiser contracted to solicit for charities. They may have your number If you've given a contribution in the past, which is how I think they got mine. In any case, they make their living making obnoxious phone calls and get to keep a portion of your charitable donation as their commission. As for the do not call list, I think that fundraisers are exempt.

I also have received several calls - no message.

Received a call from this number for my son.  It was a human on the other end of the line. We are registered on the Do Not Call Registry

Several calls over 2-3 days--no message.  Caller ID indicated call from Outreach Assoc.  I have unlisted number and am on do-not-call register.  What a farce.
