It's a collection agency.

DO NOT give these thieves any information, these guys are dumpster divers, do NOT provide or confirm ANY information for them. They purchase bankruptcy records that are 7 years or older and try to collect on those accounts, anything that was in bankruptcy or that is 7 years or older is NOT collectable. It is also against federal law to go after relatives for a debt. They are out to get your credit card, bank account or any personal information they can use for identity theft, record their number any information they give you, record the conversation if you can and provide all to your local FBI. A case with Federal charges IS being built against them. The more information provided to the Feds the better. If you have call blocker, block their call, if you have anonymous call rejection, activate it. These people also operate out of what was an abandoned house in Haupage, New York Sometimes the call will come across caller ID as Haupage. don't waste your time answering, or if you get a letter from collection addressed from Haupage, New York, ( they use about 50 different business/collection agency names) don't bother responding. Best bet would be to drive to the address in New York, and throw said letter with a rock and some burning alcohol through the front windows. Hope these thieves rot in hell.

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone.  Asked me if this was ****** and was I the same ****** that lived in Tampa, FL with last 4 SSN of ****.  Told them no and hung up.  Assumed it to be some jerk (female) from a collection agency.

I just got the same call and he said that he knew people. Get his name and call the POLICE.   This is very serious.  You cannot make threats to people on the phone if you are a collection agency.

I used to get calls from a drunk who would always ask for the same woman...who we never heard of....finally I started telling him sure shes here hold on...then lay the fone down and go back to watching TV...after 20 min to 1/2 hour he would finally hang up...I did this to him for weeks before he finally quit calling..

I just received a number from this guy as well. He asked for "Donna" who we get calls for all the time...she doesn't live here and we've never heard of her. I said "You must have the wrong number" and he gave me some sort of smart answer like "the wrong number would imply that I dialed the wrong number" he asked if he dialed number...gave my number. I said, you dialed the number correctly but no Donna lives here and never has. I told him he was rude and then he turned it around saying I was being rude. I'm 8 months pregnant...I have the right to be rude :)

I just recieved a phone call from the same company.  They were looking for my mother in law.  I gave them the proper number and told them to take my number of their list and not to call here again.  Anyone know what kind of company this is, could it be a collection agency?

I got a similar call from a "CMS Inc" (according to Caller ID), but the number was -7165. Said "this is gonna sound weird, but I;m looking for one of your neighbors, [name I never heard of]."  I told him I never heard of the guy. "Oh, well, his address is [some number nowhere near mine][name of my road]." I told him this is a very rural area, our road is several miles long, the houses are at least 1/4 mile apart, and we don't live close enough to any neighbors to know them (white lie, but I didn't care). He accepted that and hung up.

I'm guessing collection agency. But if my so-called neighbor exists, he's not in the phone book. I also wonder if it's coincidence that our town's exchange is also 787-XXXX, same as this number. (Different area code though.

I just received a call from cms and they asked for someone that is not even at this phone number....they were actually calling about a neighber, and I told them they had the wrong number and the were very rude and insisted that I knew these people they were looking for,,,,funny thing is my closet neigbor is over 1/2 mile away,,,,why would i know them?

I told them never to call here again!

This guy Bo Young keeps calling like 3 or 4 times a day from cms.  He's very rude and obnoxious.  I just talked to the jerk and told him to quit calling here.  He asked what my name was and I told him it was none of his business and hung up on him.  He's very annoying.
