Same thing here -- a hang up before my voice mail could pick up.
My Caller ID just identifies it as a cell phone in Pennsylvania.
Weird.

Got a call from this # - did not recognize it so hit "ignore" and no message left.  I have put my cell phone # on the do not call register but it has to be on there for 30 days before I can make complaints.

Yet another wayward phone robot telling me about my nonexistant car warranty. *Yawn* and <delete>.

I received the call about 9:26 am, it rang for about 4 rings and before I even clicked to answer it hung up. As  a matter of fact it hung up as soon as I hit the hook key.Caller ID only picked the number of and no name. I hate telemarketers even if they are robotic!

"<foghorn> Hello, this is your captain speaking..." and "This is a public opinion survey...".  They ask a bunch of questions and promise a free cruise.  Interesting to see (from "Why is my ringer even on?") that these are probably the same scammers as the car warrantee scammers)

This phone number is a cell phone number.
Caller hangs up before my answer machine kicks on.  Call ID says call is from Homestead, PA but Search says the number is from Pittsburg, PA.

I get these all the time. I get so many annoying calls that I don't answer ANY of them. I heard somewhere that some of these "hang up" calls are computer generated, there's no one there they just want to find out when people are home. If you pick up (even if you hang right up), they make a note of it, so that they'll know a good time to have a person call back and catch you at home. Who knows...

Dont know who this is when i return the call it says it's an incorrect number. Only thing I know it's somewhere in Pennsylvania. It's pretty annoying.

412.290.1236 someone keeps calling my job from this phone number telling me I am a winner of a cruise, I asked them to put this number on their no call list THREE TIMES but, they continue to call.  MAKE IT STOP!

Oh my gosh they did something similar to me!  I spoke to a woman and she was like " You said you wanted the cruise!" And I said, "no, you just keep calling me and telling me I won, I don't want anything from you, please stop calling". She was laughing with people in the background and kept making rude comments, and then said "Fine" and hung up on me. What a joke.

Me too!!! I actually took the survey the first time (I know, I'm an idiot), and so I thought that's why they kept harassing me. But apparently they are harassing others who haven't even done the survey.
AND I ACTUALLY SPOKE TO SOMEONE! It took a while but I got ahold of an actual person. They were soooooooo incredibly rude to me. I mean like seriously awful. But she agreed to take me off the list. That lasted a few months and now they are back to calling. Seriously, what is wrong with them?!!!!!!

412-901-1236 calls my house at least 6 or 7 times a day.  not only that, they have absolutely no shame in the time or days.  they call on satrudays and sundays, and today they woke me up at 8:15 in the morning, after i was on vacation in atlantic city, nj all weekend and didnt get much sleep.  i am SOOO frustrated and mad, this is bs.  how the hell can someone be able to get away with this kind of fake stuff???

I just kept pressing "0" until it transferred me to an operator.  Then I said "I'd like to please be removed" and the operator said "You don't want a free cruise?" and I said "No thank you" and he said "Why not?" and I said "I'm not trying to be difficult sir, I just want to be removed from the list" and he said "You have to scan the line and remove it yourself" and then LAUGHED at me and hung up!

I am SOOOOO tired of this. They have called for more than a year from so many different phone numbers that its ridiculous. I don't want your stupid fake cruise and I am NOT taking your stupid survey. I wish I could put these jerks on a raft and send them to the Bermuda Triangle! AAAAGH!

412-901-1236  at 10 min to 4p.m. central time they call and another one right after that. I'm getting their ip address and shuting down their pc for good.

Got calls from this number about three times today.  No messages ever left on voicemail.  Whoever it is calling, he/she is annoying.

Phone call came in from 412-901-1236 and the caller hung up when my vm picked up. When I called it back, it says that the number is not in service.

The caller does not believe in leaving a voice message.

CALLER WON'T STOP CALLING! WHEN I CALL BACK IT SAYS NUMBER IS INCORRECT!! !?!?! !

AUTOMATED call stating if I answered 10 questions of a "public opinion poll" I would received two INCLUSIVE tickets to the Bahamas.  I hung up.  I called the number back and it went to a recording telling me the number was incorrect (I called it twice - It was not incorrect!).  I reported them to the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm
