Men with foreign accents continue to call me either leaving a message or call back asking for a person that does not live here. I told them to stop calling or I was going to report them to the attorney generals office. The person who most recently called said he was Brian Davis.

I received a call from these people as well.  If you search American Cash it shows you that it is a scam.  I hate that they prey on people.

KEEPS CALLING AND HARRASING ME AT WORK

I was accused and being notified of a pending lawsuit on behalf of California Payday Loan with Slate and Davis LLC representing their client, American Cash.  Threatened that criminal charges would be levied against me due to late payment on a short term loan which they could not validate for me.  Very hostile individuals, when I asked for verification and advised I could not find a firm called Slate and Davis LLC in Dudley MA.  Also insisted they fax me a legal document notifying me of the situation which they generated pretty quickly and seemed very convincing.  Requested I immediately wire $891.23 to a Peter Mahoney in Palm Beach FL which seemed very odd.  Since I was threatened that they would file a criminal case against me and notify my employer, I took action and sent funds.  Now there are more harrasing phone calls and now an even higher request to submit $3K to alleviate this case.

This is a scam to try to get money out of hard working American citizens.  They are Indian and have a very thick accent.  They say you haven't paid a payday loan, but won't give you any information about said loan.  PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!!!  They are relentless and ruthless and will call constantly using American sounding names.  I've been dealing with this kind of crap since June, 2009.  Good luck out there.
