Got a dropped call on my cell phone @ 11:14 amd (12/27/12) - answered and no one there and no msg left. I do believe it can be Big Bros & Sis since I had rec'd a notice they'd be around picking up stuff, however, too much snow to leave out.

Female rep called me around noon on a Friday. Said she was from Big Brothers Big Sisters, they'd be in my neighborhood collecting donations on January 2, and asked if I would leave a bag of clothing on my front steps. I don't know if it was actually BBBSA.

I got this call. I picked up and announced myself. The caller dropped the line. When I called back there is silence on the line.. however after some time you will hear DTMF tones. (The sound of someone dialing) I strongly suspect they are just calling numbers and "qualifying" people. (Making a list of what numbers pick up to sell to a telemarketer.) I recommend you call them back and tie up their line.

413-785-1873 (listed as UNAVAILABLE) called at 8:30 AM. I picked up and an automated message said that the Boys and Girls Club was picking up the items I want to donate between a certain period of time on a specific date. They then provided the number (1-888-413-2227) to call if that date was not good. Neither my husband nor I ever called about such a donation, as we always donate to a local community food pantry and a local shelter.
