It is a sales call, no matter what they says in their message. Wanting to schedule a sales person to come see you IS A SALES CALL.

Here is what you d0..  Set an appointment and have them come to your house.
They want to waste your time calling - then you waste their time.
Here is what I did and so far so good.
Made the appointment and the guy came over and I asked him for his ID.
Kept it and told him I will not give it back until I get his company info and I am removed from the list.
He contacted somebody and removed me.

This Power Savers Association has called our house everyday for the last two weeks, sometimes twice a day.  I finally told them today to take my number off the list.  Its ridiculous that you can't get them to stop and they say they are calling about the government rebate of $3,700.00.  Forget it!

I called from both our phones, after being hung up on TWICE I finally spoke to a very nice woman,
who promised to remove me from their call list. (let's see how that works!)
I also call blocked all 8 numbers they've been calling me from.
Try call your phone company, they helped us block the numbers.

They are undoubtedly the most annoying group ever. They are creating ill will for the group they are selling for. I will let you know soon who it is.
I have told them not to call me, but they do not stop.
They called me again this past Saturday morning and woke me up!

I have received numerous calls from the listed company which in fact is Power Savers of Florida, Inc out of Lady Lake, Fl. To date the Attorney Generals office has only received 20 odd complaints including mine. Any calls placed to the only number that is answered are fruitless as soon as you ask about the company as the operator will hang up on you. I suggest that individuals receing solication calls from this company or any of its shell companies (Powers Savers Association, Energy Conservation Group, Alternate Energy Group) contact the Attorney General and file a complaint, This can be done on line.

This number and 727-331-1654 are connected to the same company. When you call back you cant leave a message or talk to anyone.  I've just logged them into my cell phone as MysteryPhone#s so I don't ever answer the calls that come in. I thought it was my ex husband crank calling me.

They call me daily, and yesterday said they would continue to call until I had someone come out to my house!  I'm scheduled to meet with someone at 5 today, but will not answer the door!  Woman said they were a non-profit company and were not selling anything.  I said I was on the do not call list, and she said they could call me all the time because they were non-profit!

I have also been bothered constantly and pushing #2 does not remove you from the list.  If you do not schedule an appointment, your number goes back in the queue for calling.  They said that the govt. is paying for the calls.  They say they are not selling something and are exempt from the Do Not Call list.  I have reported them to FCC, FTC, FL Consumers Agency and hope that some good comes out of this.  I think I will try to get a TV station or newspaper to take up the cause.  I suggested bodily harm if they came this way but they were not impressed.

Susan, thanks for the info.  I live in Juno Beach and they are calling me regularly as well, no matter how many times I tell them I'm not interested.  They gave me another number to call back which worked 407-358-6114.

Same for me, I keep getting the calls on my home phone and my cell phone, and when I pressed 1 I got a girl who asked if I have had an inspection and I said that I simply want my number taken off of their call list, and told her that I dont want to pay for them calling me, because it is my cell phone number... she promptly hung up on me and was very abrasive and ignorant in the way she spoke, ebonics to the max..... crazy that I cant get them to stop calling me.

You can register your number on the Do Not Call registry at https://www.donotcall.gov or file a complaint for these telemarketers by choosing the File a Complaint tab on the same screen.

These people have been calling my house almost daily for weeks.  I finally "pressed one" to find out who they were and the lady who answered was obnoxious.  She told me that the company was not selling anything. 3 different #s now. I recieved a call yesterday and when I called back actually got their voice mail. I left a VERY crude message. Wont do any good but was satisfying.

My call this time was from 727-239-1763.  I have rec'd many, many others from other #'s  even when I tell them to take me off their lists,  The woman who answered this time when I started questioning her said her name was Teresa, representing Power Saver Association.  Said she was in Orlando (even tho her area code was 727, Pinellas County.  Got irritated with my repeated questions, obvious I was writing it all down.  Finally told me I was "not qualified."

This is a blatant fraud -- saying they are gov't connected to the Stimulous Program and authorized to do inspections at no charge and you may qualify for "free money".  Naive people fall for it.

Many people are receiving these calls. Does anyone know what they are selling?  The telemarketer who called me claimed they are not selling anything. I asked her, "How then, does your company make any money?"
She said there was no number to call them back. What legitimate company does not have a phone number where customers can reach them?

got another call from "Power Savers Association" today (727-271-8073). Got them prior to this and attempted to cancel out by pressing 2 after the prerecorded message. Today, I pressed 1 and got a telemarketer. She said they are subcontracted by a company called "Alternative Energy Company". When I attempted to look up Alternative Energy Company, I found a solar company with that name, along with a different company that has a website with no information in it.

the woman on the phone was not pleased that I was asking so many questions, and got irate when I asked to be removed from the call list. She hung up on me before taking me off their list. I am sure I will get more calls.

They keep calling my business. I don't answer anymore and they never leave messages.

They keep calling me also. They have another # that they are using now, 407-288-4980. It is supposedly a Kissimee # and the 727 # says New Port Ritchie.

They called me TWICE today. The first time, I hit *2* asking them to remove me from their list. When they called back the second time, she insisted they were not violatint the Do Not Call Law, because they were not sellig anything.  She laughed when I swore at her.

Yep, they don't leave a message and i can't really call back as it goes right to voice mail.
