O.K., my wife gets home earlier than I do from work on a daily & routine schedule.  Today, my wife comes home to a voice mail on the land line threatening arrest & jail time if some "PayDay Loan" was not paid back by tomorrow's date.  The message was from an Indian, Pakistani, or Middle Eastern dialect speaking broken English (& speaking it extremely rude as well).  Not knowing what to do, my wife called me & confirmed that I had no such loan in my name & then called the city police department.  The police confirmed a scam by these guys, so I began to call the number back & play with them for a while.  When I was through, I had spoken to each & everyone of those call center individuals & they knew my voice when they answered (I had 3 cell phones & 1 landline dialing).  I just played with them & jokingly stated "hello, it's me again & you can help me by explaining..........".  The final call that a live person answered was greeted by the call center employee stating "OH MY GAWD, I cannot believe it is f*^king you again".  I just stated "Sux to be harrassed & threatened huh?  Now, Go F*%K Yourself" & was disconnected.  After that call, all of "MY" phone numbers were blocked & I received a busy signal every time that I dialed their number.

Copany calling and syaing I owe a debt to a payday company.  Was calling my work, over and over, ......
  the lady was very rude, and was threatening me!!!!!
 I left work,    only to find out that I owed no company.......the number was a cell phone......
What a scam.....and I am maaadddddd

Oh I got a call from them and I told them that straight out that there is no law firm by that name that i did look it for the so call attorney office and that is was phoney. and if they kept on calling me that I will call the Massachusetts state attorney office. He said thank you mam. And hung up.

Calling to threaten that I will be arrested within the next few hours if I don't send them money via One Vanilla Reload Network (a prepaid, untraceable card). Will not tell me what company they are with and what is the purpose of their call

i got a call from them also. they couldnt give me the name of the company that was sueing me but insisted that if i didnt pay them $610. there would be an warrant for my arrest. they called my phone 18 times in one day. they even called after 5 pm..when i tried to call that number over the weekend there ws a busy signal..the only thing that i found on this number is that its a scam. researched the law firm and couldnt find a firm with that name.

I got a call from this number and it was supposedly a Law Firm (Matthews and Cohen) saying that I owed money from 6 years ago to a Online Check Cashing Company. They proceeded to tell me if I didn't come up with $1800 (6 years worth of interest at 3.19%) in 30 minutes that they would send a warrant for my arrest and I would serve 30 days in jail for check fraud. I told them I would call them back as I needed to call a friend and ask to borrow the money. I then called the Sheriff's Dept who instructed me not to give them a dime that they would have to sue me through Civil Court if it was a true debt and that any debt like that owed after 3 years was void anyway. He also informed me that it was against the law for a Lawyer's office or debt company to threaten arrest over the phone. Once I called back and told them that, they quickly hung up. I am not sure what this is, fraud maybe, someone trying to get me to send them money. But these people had my name, address, birthday, phone number, place of emplyment and my Banks name. So I changed all of my accounts at my bank. just wanted to put this out there to see if anyone else had this happen and to warn others.
