Kohn Law Firm. Nothing but a bottom feeding collection firm.  They dug deep and found an old account I had when I was 28, that was 22 years ago from ATT. They are trying to collect on a $215.00 dollar bill. They where told the account is WAY past the SOL and to p****off. They continue to call. Next is a law suit. But in the meantime, I do like to get them all worked up and then hang up.

I have gotten calls on my cell at all hours of the day and night with no regard to day of week either. Last night at 1135 pm and this morning at 530 am. I have even answered the call numerous times to get nothing more than a recording. I can be reached best via email at adf.msned@yahoo.com

I SHUT THE DOOR AND LOCKED IT. SHE SAID SHE NEEDED IT SIGNED. I IMMEDIATLY CONTACTED AN AMAZING GROUP OF LAWYERS I HAD BEEN MADE AWARE OF. THEY TOLD ME NOT TO ANSWER THE DOOR IF SHE CAME BACK. SHE CAME 3 DAYS LATER AT 7AM. I WENT ON OUR BALCONY ,TOLD HER WE WERE NOT GOING TO SIGN IT AND HAD RETAINED COUNCIL, I ASKED HER IF SHE WANTED THEIR BUSINESS CARD. I SENT THE BUSINESS CARD OVER THE BALCONY. SHE THEN LEFT ,LEAVING THE CARD ON THE GROUND. THIS SAME SCENARIO HAPPENED 6 MORE TIMES. OUR LAWYER CONTACTED KOHN LAW FIRM. ( THEY WERE VERBALLY OK WITH HER- OF COURSE THEY WERE ) SHE WAS A TRUE AND DECENT LAWYER NOT POND SCUM LIKE THEM. THEY TOLD HER THEY FELT WE COULD AFFORD TO PAY MORE THAN WE WERE PAYING, THEY WANTED FULL PAYMENT NOW. WHEN SHE TOLD THEM THIS WAS WHAT WE COULD AFFORD,THEY INFORMED US AS FOLLOWS: UNTIL WE COULD PAY THEM IN FULL,WE SHOULD GET RID OF OUR SUPPOSED LUXERIES,( THEY DEFINE LUXERIES AS: YOUR CAR, CABLE,CELL PHONE) . A larger woman told him to get his parents,( she put her foot in the door as he tried to close it) ,she terrified him. i came to the door ,she said she was a process server ,serving a court summons for Kohn law offices. I WAS LIKE WHAT?  i had kept our arrangements with these idiots and had all of my reciepts. why are they now coming after me?  i called an awesome lawyer i was aware of, they took the case for me.  they called the Kohn law offices , they were somewhat nice to her. ( because she was a decent lawyer and they knew they had to be). they told her the arrangements they had with me they no longer thought was applicable. they wanted all of the money right now. they went as far to say if we could not afford to pay the bill in full ,we should get rid of our cell phones ,cars and cable. then pay them , then and only then ( after they were paid) should we be allowed luxeries( as they put it. the case is closed now ,thanks to our lawyers. THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL GET A FAIR ENDING WITH THESE SCUM BAGS IS TO GET AN ATTORNEY). YOU HAVE TO HAVE A LEGITAMET  ATTORNEY TO FIGHT THIS POND SCUM, KOHN LAW OFFICES ARE SCUM,USES VIAL LANGUAGE, THREATS, AND HARRASSES YOU SEVERLY. I have beat Kohn Law Firm earlier this year, when they file suit, they file for summary judgement which is a fast track way to get the judgement against you...you need to do your homework and file all the necessary documentation with the court that was filed in, file for dismissal of all affidavits that were submitted in their complaint as 90% of them are not written by that person signing it and are based on here say and not allowed in court...once ya show them ya know a thing or to about the laws in the state of WI both state and Federal, once I was granted an continuance and allowed for discovery and sent them my discovery questions and wanted to depose their affidavit that were submitted, the case was dismissed with prejudice which means they can never refile on me!!!!

It's scary I got a call from phone # 414-276-0435 at about 3:35pm cst on 9/21/12. I got an unlisted cellphone # and they were asking for verification of my name, social security #, birth date and address. I wouldn't tell them anything because it seemed like fraud and identity theft. They got mad and hung up.

It's Kohn Law Firm in Milwaukee.  They are bottom feeders!  I called them to settle a debt with a lump sum payment and was told they are "required to get a financial statement" from me.  I contacted my attorney and was told there was no law stating I have to give them this info.  It's none of their business especially if I'm offering to settle the debt.  Just being nosey b@stards.  Do not give them a financial statement. If you refuse and they threaten you, you have a right to sue them.

I've had two robo callls from these people asking me if I am someone else.  These were on my voice mail.  The robo call then goes on to say that if you're still "listening," then you are "admitting" to being whoever they are looking for.  I want to file a complaint.  It sounds like a scam to stick me with someone else's debt.

dspiral and others that have been called by Kohn:  You said they were calling you on your cell phone.  I would like to talk to you and anyone else who was called on their cell phones by this group with questionable tactics.  Please post a way to get a hold of you if you have had this experience also.  Thanks!

I got a call from 414-276-0435 at 10:30am asking for my address and social. I gave them my addess and they said it wasn't the same one they had on file. they then asked for my social so I asked for their company name. They refused to give it to me until I gave my social. I then refused and basically accused them of identity fraud. The woman denied that was her intention. I then hung up and had my boyfriend call and ask for their information. They said they were a law firm.
I then called local police and tried to make a report. They advised me to make a report if they called again.

This so called law firm will NOT work with anyone. We have a lawyer/group working with and for us - and they completely ignore them. Now they are contacting us at work. Seriously? To the coment about 'pay your bills' - loss a job and support a family and see what you do. We are paying them! This particular group is not happy with what we can do.

Yeah, this is Kohn Law Offices. A rather indecent law firm and awful to deal with. They will try and screw you any way possible. I went to court and could PROVE to them that I could not repay my debt under state of WI regulations and they STILL tried to get a garnishment on my husband by pretending they didn't know "which" public assistance we received. DO NOT talk to them or agree to anything and have a neutral 3rd party sign any agreements with them. Better yet, retain your own counsel. They lie through their teeth!
