called my office and my cell

They called my office too.  Not sure what they wanted, but very embarrassing to have some weird man calling me at work and leaving messages to call back.

Received a call early in the morning requesting that I "return the call to Mr. Corbett." I called back and he threatened me that he would call the police if I didn't identify myself.

This is one of the phone numbers for Oliver Adjustment Company (OAC), a collection agency.  They handle a lot of unpaid health care bills.  Anyone who is a lousy bill collecor, but calls himself "Mr." has got to be a dyed-in-the-wool douche.

He called me this morning.  Not very friendly or willing to work with me.  Just happy to threaten me with further actions for a $1400.00 mediacl bill.   Maybe if he would have been slightly friendly, and not hung up on me, I would have been more willing to pay him now.

recieved a call from MR.CORBett... said he was going to sue me and then he hung up on me... I called him back and asked to speak to his boss.....He said he is the boss... I told him that if he was the boss then he should know that you treat EVERYONE with respect...and not to hang up on people... Does he have a boss?? and if your are reading this....GREAT LAKES... Hire someone else!!!

I just gave That guy my cell # right before I looked this up.
So I just called and left a message, me not to call me. we'll see what happens

Mr. Corbett, WOW is pretty much it. Yes I do owe the money, but he was unwilling to work with me in any way except for full payment. I cant believe in these hard times that these companies are unwilling to work with you.

I started getting frequent calls from this local number, leaving messages that could be interpreted as life threatening if the call was not returned. They go as far as calling in 30 minutes intervalls and hiding their number in-between. I ran the number via white pages, no luck. Then I thought of googling the number and stumbled across this site and thanks to you, I know it's OAC. A collection agency that uses illegal and unethical collection practices. I am sure that 99% of the people owing any debt would love to pay it bacl if they could. Harassing isn't making anyone take food out of their child's mouth. Thanks to everyone's posting on this site. Btw, it is illegal to contact you at work. It is also illegal to continue to call you if you tell them not to. Also! Never admit you owe anything because the statute of limitation starts all new the moment you agree to pay a debt you know you can't possible repay. Good luck!

Contact your State attorney general's office and file a complaint.  I'm in that process.

Mr. Corbett has been calling me non-stop for the past 3 days, leaving messages.  He even once left an incomplete message at 6:52am Friday morning! I can tell it was him even though he didn't leave a name cuz I saved his before and after messages and yep, sounded just like him! I know I am guilty of a debt but is it really necessary to harass me like this?  When I call back, I am requesting to work with someone else and folks, read the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act so that you're aware of your rights and privacy.

Same as the others, Mr. Corbett.  No message, but I've got OAC after me for a medical bill the insurance company hasn't paid.
