Same message .....they are attempting to use scare tactics and threaten with legal action .....I'm smarter than that though......there is something called due process Goldberg & Maxwell is phony as hell.  When you are sued for an old debt the law firm has to have licensed attorneys in your state.  What sense does it make for an out of state law firm to take on a case in a state they're not licensed in.

I GOT A CALL FROM 414-431-5175.  THE LADY STATED THAT SHE HAD A CLIENT IN HER OFFICE AND THAT THEY HAD A LAWSUIT FILED AGAINST ME, AND IF I DID NOT CONTACT THEY WITHIN 2 HOURS THAT THEY WOULD CONTINUE WITH LEGAL PROCESSES.  SHE ALSO STATED THAT THEY WOULD RESEARCHING MY EMPLOYMENT AND ALL MY VIN NUMBERS ON MY CARS.  SO I NEED TO CALL OR ELSE. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED MY LAWYER AND MY PLANS ARE TO RESEARCH THEM AND FILE A COUNTER SUIT.

I argued and argued - then gave in to the threats to make it all go away for $410. Totally worth it to not talk to these f'ers ever again!

I received a text msg twice "we have been trying to contact you before any legal action is taken for lack of payment regarding accout A*****, Call 888-699-9726.  Reply STOP to stop".

Okay so I called this number back, a woman answers she puts me on hold for about one minute.  She gets back on and asks me what the number is where i recieved the message.  I ask what this is regarding.  She states that there are several different accounts they work for and until I give her my number, she cannot tell me.  I ask her if she can tell me at least what this is regarding, woman states "is there a reason you are being so hasty about giving out your phone number?" This woman is clearly rude and angry. I reply that yes I am concerned with providing my information as this is my personal phone.  She then states that she does "not have time to waste" and hangs up.

This sounds like a complete scam to me! Whatever scammers, get a life, get a real job, and quit trying to get through life by ripping people off...... I mean really, are you that low???? LOSERS

I've been receiving calls from this number.so I answered it they said I had a payday loan that I took out in 2008 but that can't be true because I didn't have a bank account in 2008 I just filed bankruptcy in 2007 but they said it doesn't matter because they could take me to court nd I would lose no matter what they stardted threatening me saying they were gonna serve me papers nd I was going to jail nd they could garnish my wages so I was scared nd set up a payment plan nd made a payment. Of 50 just the other day nd I have 3 more scheduled payments to make but now that I'm seeing all the complaints I think I need to contact my lawyers office asap. Can anyone give me some advice on what I should do????????

Got a call saying my Jeep was going to be repossed and that the constable was on his way to my house to serve me papers.  This lady at 414 431 4714 went on to say my licsence was suspended.  They had the wrong social security number.  I mad a mistake of giving them my full name and they got my correct soical.  I've called the office several times and left messages, all I get is a voice mail!

I got a call from 414 431-4647.. I recently filed for bankuptcy, they said they wouldn't take bankruptcy and if i didn't do an out of court settlement with them they would call inmigration on me, they would put me in jail for fraud, and they also said they had people following me at work and that they knew where i live.. I called court inmediately because his treats scared me... if you have recently filed for bankruptcy and this people call do not pay them anything... the laws protect you, file a complaint in the credit bureau office and also you can start a civil lawsuit for harrasment.. tell tem that you are protected by the fair debt collection practices act.. they will leave you alone.. I'm planning to sue them

I got a call from this people to settle a debt , I file for bankruptcy and they said they can try to put me in jail for fraud because this is a secure loan that I have no clue about it, he wouldn't give me any information either

I got a call from them about a week ago with 414-431-4647 about a debt that I supposedly owe. When I told them I paid the bill in full and have the paid in full letter prove it, they gave me an email address tossed the letter too but it came back undeliverable. Then when I called the lady back I get her voicemail every time. Something is definitely up.

Received a call/message from this number from a call from "Tom Reynolds" from Goldberg Maxwell. He stated on answering machine that I had been used as a reference on an application and he was following up on it. The problem is hat he used my previous married name and I haven't used it in over 2 years. Anyone that would used me as a reference would have put my correct last name. Naturally, I didn't call back, sounds phishy to me.
Also Goldberg Maxwell is in NY, but 414 area code is Milwaukee Wisconsin.
Have no idea what they are really after, but their practices are phishy if not their intent.
