This Phone number is a fax line number for the National Taxpayers Union-Wisconsin Chapter-Americans For Prosperity Wisconsin.  NTU is a national non profit group with various state chapters. They promote and advocate the benefits of lowering taxes and limited government.  They are exempt from the Do Not Call List because of their non-profit status.  Call the Wisconsin Chapter directly at 414-475-2975 to address your concerns or issues.

Political calls are exempted from the National Do Not Call Registry.  From their Q&A:  "Political solicitations are not covered by the TSR at all, since they are not included in its definition of ?telemarketing.?"  Charities are also exempted although I find it telling that Congress completely exempted political calls, but Charities have a much more well defined set of rules they must follow.

To those of you at 1126 South 70th Street, Suite S219A - Did you know that it is ILLEGAL to call phone numbers that are on the DO NOT CALL LIST? Your FLAKEY autodialer doesn't even work - every time I answered one of the SEVERAL calls from it - the call just disconnects? And what's even better is that you have your UNLISTED FAX number set as the caller ID - that's pretty misleading and a shady business practice at best.

This isn't the best way to gain support for your cause. You need to remove my number from your autodialer. If I continue to get the calls from your organization I will pursue this to the full extent I can legally to shut you down. If the legal path does not work I will shut you down by other means.

I just got another call from these b*****ds again 8:35pm CST. - Another hang up. I am going to prank call them tomorrow about 100 times.

We also have had 6 similar calls from this number.  If you look up the Milwaukee Chapter on the internet and look at the event calendar you will see several hosts listed for "tea party events" from last July.  I plan on calling these people tonite between 2 or 3 this morning to see what they can do to turn off their fax machine's auto dialer at the office.  My next call tomorrow morning will be to report a violation of my "no call" filing for a violation of a presumed tele-marketing call and finally to file a complaint with the DA's office to file a complaint for disturbing the peace.
Suggest you all do the same.

I tried to leave a message for both extensions listed at the WI office - but their mailboxes are full... probably from all the other pissed off people.

Same here - I keep getting called every day - all day.

We have received over a dozen calls from this number over the last three days--we have never picked it up.

We are getting calls from this number as well. No one is there when we answer. We are also on the DNC. I want to make them stop.

They have called our phone number several times a day for the past couple weeks.

We keep getting calls from this number....no one there and no message left.  All hours and days of week.  Very annoying!  We are on the DNC list.  Is there a way to make this stop or report it?

Several calls from this number all hrs of the day and night. We are on the D.N.C. list. If we try to answer there is no one there. VERY ANNOYING!!!!!
