They keep calling me and I live in Florida. I have NEVER lived in Wisconsin. I would support the police agencies in my own state, not Wisconsin.

Called 3X within 1 hour! Even if they are not scammers they are simply paid telemarketers not associated with any police group .Don't leave any message,and hang up before you can get to the phone.Almost as bad as the 'CARD SERVICES' Scammers.What a pain in the butt!

'COULD' be a legitimate organization but I would NEVER contribute to telemarketers where most of the money taken in goes to the fundraising effort.

Yes, there is a Wisconsin County Police Association: http://www.wcpawi.com/ Anyone associated with a Sheriff's department within the State of Wisconsin can join.
They are asking for money the way firefighters ask for money: for programs not funded by the taxpayers.

Wow! Take a pill...most of this info is common sense and nobody really cares about your habits. This is just to narrow down who these callers are.

This is a scam. There is no Wisconsin County Police Association. Besides I do support the Police. I voted to recall Snot Walker and restore collective bargining rights.

I do NOT "pick up" for ANY telephone calls...landline telephone calls NOR cellular telephone calls. All landline telephone calls are screened by my telephone answering machine and all cellular telephone calls are screened via CallerID.
If I am present, I listen to the landline telephone screening via the speaker in my telephone answering machine and only "pick up" for incoming telephone calls from parties with which I wish to speak with.
I only answer cellular telephone calls based on CallerID information.
I am a complete loss to these telemarketers and other nefarious telephone abusers.
I also, sometimes, don't wish to speak with familiar parties. My screening process allows me complete freedom of choice as to whom I speak with and when I speak with them.
My personal method has worked for me for years and, although I RECEIVE unwanted telephone calls, I am not bothered by them.
I also research and track down every incoming telephone number I do not recognize...so I know who is calling me, who is bothering me, and who has my telephone number(s).
I also use *67 blocking on ALL outgoing telephone calls...landline and cellular. I know, in some cases, because of ANI, *67 blocking will not work, but I use it for ALL outgoing telephone calls for the times that it will work. I never know which outgoing telephone numbers *67 will work on and which outgoing telephone numbers *67 will not work on so I use *67 blocking on ALL outgoing telephone numbers.

Called twice tonight. Didn't answer the first one and they didn't leave a message. Picked up the second call which was about a half hour after the first. They said they were from the Wisconsin County Police Association. Told them I don't want to talk to them and hung up. Heard lots of voices in background. They've been calling frequently for the last couple of months but don't leave a message. I usually don't answer numbers I don't know, but am getting really annoyed with this one calling all the time.

Called last night left no message but could hear voices in the background. Sounded like some call center. Called twice already tonight. Within an hour of each other. Left no message.
