Am in Atlanta and just got the same call. It was from Alliance theater. Goofy guy to be honest and I hung up when he said he didn't like sales people. That's what I do for a living!!!!

I called back and they are a telemarketer that gets contracted to call for Arts organizations in local communities. Next time I will answer and tell them to remove me from the list

Don't provide your cell phone # to arts organizations when you buy tickets from them, duh. Non-Profits do not have to acknowledge the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY also.

They have often called. It's the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. We bought tickets this year and now they have apparently engaged a paid fundraiser. I doubt they aer covered by the Do Not Call list rules, as CSO is a nonprofit. She was quite polite and agreed to remove my name from her list.

They just called me for the Pittsburgh CLO, I promised I would send a check a couple months ago and never did. They've been calling since then. I finally gave in and made the payment that I promised 2 months ago but I know not to answer anymore, I marked the number as a DO NOT ANSWER in my phone.

This must be a telemarketig firm commonly used by performing arts organizations. I donated to Nashville Ballet once, now they seem to call once every month looking for more.

Got a call yesterday on my cell phone. Didn't answer, no message left. Performing arts fundraiser seems right, because I've bought tickets from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Truth is, I wouldn't have minded talking to them. It's better than the bill collectors (oh look, one's calling now) or the v1@gra salesmen.

They have called my house repeatedly as well. If you try to call the number back it does not allow you to speak to a live person. I tried to file a complaint, but this is what it stated:

Called on both my home phone and cell phone. I have no idea how they got my phone numbers. Did not leave a message at either number. If they do leave a message, I will be reporting them as both numbers are listed in the Do Not Call directory.
