I keep getting called from this number late at night with no answer or message. If this really is the blood center then they just lost another donor. I am getting sick of getting these phone calls. Every other day and around 9pm even on weekends! I fought this is the center or they must have been hacked.

No, i do not see them as overstaffed; the need is just continually that great, hence the calls to get help. As a nurse, I see we use a lot of blood, as many people are more medically complex in the hospital settings, than in past years. I hope you will consider to continue being a donor in spite of the calls, you probably are a less often encountered blood type- therefore in greater need than average. Also, if inconvenient, just tell them not to call, or to call in another month or two if you are too busy.

They call me almost every other day. They never leave a message and I have answered 4 times now and have asked them to take me off the list and they always say "oh ok we will do that" and then guess what...another call a couple days later.

I got that universal blood. They stalk me worse then a debt collector.

Yes, it is the blood center of wisconsin. If you don't wish for them to call you call that number and let them know. I just did and they were super about it.

I volunteered to donate blood and this one appointment has resulted in 2 follow-up emails and 3 phone calls. A lot of harassment as far as I am concerned for someone who is doing a good deed. They must be way overstaffed!
