They called me and set up a demonstration. I thought it was a scam but ended up being very good service. Take your company to the next level and give them a call.

Received a call from a company called Google Law Firm. They said that they could get our company up on the first page of Google within 7 days by going to the back end of our Google Places account. When I asked the guy on the phone if he was talking about setting up a Google Adwords campaign, he said that he's never heard of Google Adwords. I asked them how they could go on the backend of our Google Places account, he put a girl on the phone. She explained that they'd set up an Adwords account but put the information on our Google Places account. I think they are making up terms to confuse people. When I told her that I would think about it and call her back, she said that they don't have a call-back number. Really? Can we say "scam artist"? Who calls you about trying to sell you something but doesn't have a call-back number? Stay as far away from this company as possible.

I just wanted to say that...I recently got offered a job with Google Law Firm...I thought it was a legit business, and I have made over 600 calls in a two day period. After 2 days of working there, I feel like the work I am doing is a scam...I just get the run around from my boss when I ask him what the end result of this is. And we aren't selling anything on the call, what we are saying is that we want to set up a free 10 min. demo for you to see how your firm can be placed on the front page of google whenever a potential client wants to find you by a your speciality, without knowing your name or where you are located....but...if you decide to keep it, it costs you $199/mo. to keep the service..there are no contracts or per click fees, or cancellation fees involved....that is what they are telling us to tell you anyways....I don't know what the end result is..because I am not the IT person that handles it...I am just an appointment setter for these people....I was excited when I got the job, because I was a stay at home mom with 2 kids...I needed a job to keep a roof over our heads, the pay was better than minimum wage and the hours fit into the kids' school schedule...and it was a REALLY relaxed atmosphere...dress code was...just no holes...simple enough. I even brought my daughter back to work with me on my first day....bc it was her half day of the school week and have to sitter available for her yet. But after working one day....I didn't want to go back...I just feel like I am part of the scam and I don't want to be a part of it...but in order to get back on State help legitimately until I can find a REAL job...I have to stick it out until either I get fired for not scheduling enough appointments per day or the state says I can quit....sucks. The 1-800# for this company if you want to tell someone off is the following Google Law Firm Marketing 1-800-480-6121. Their website is; www.glfmarketing.com. FYI, what seems like we are just hanging up on you when you are answering the phone has an explanation....We are on a headset on an auto dialer...but the dialog box that says WHO we are calling sometimes does not show up until after you have answered the phone...and sometimes, more often than not, there is NO dial tone on OUR end to hear that someone has even picked up the phone. I just want to express that I NEVER hung up on anyone or EVER was rude to anyone when I called and I ALWAYS took ppl off the call list if I was asked to. Even though the boss was not happy with me...I still did it...bc if it were me and I got the same call like 10 times in a day...I would be very pissed off too. I don't know what the number is that I am calling from when I am there, but there are 3 of us at this office and then the boss as well. The boss isn't even working under his legal name...if that tells you anything right there! Plus apparently there is another office in Portland, OR that has many more employees working there. I work at the Vancouver, WA office. I apologize for this scamming company...and hopefully something can be done about it soon. I think I am just going to quit before I get state approval, I cannot justify working for a scammer one more minute of my life. I am NOT that kind of person....I AM better than this. I don't want to go back on STATE help, but I have to do what I have to do, to keep a roof over me and my children's heads. Good luck with getting these b*****ds shut down before they rob anymore of you of your time and money and their employees of their pride and dignity. Also, another FYI, residential numbers are able to be put on a no call list...but commercial/businesses are NOT....your business is NOT protected from solicitors!!!

My daughter worked for a small marketing company in Portland, OR called Google Law Firm (which sounded very prestigious at first.) I found out they try to get law firms to sign up for a Google website for 100-300 per month which they claim will come up first when someone is searching for a lawyer. I taught my daughter phone etiquette and I certainly hope she never just hung up if the boss wasn't there. That not only makes the receiver angry, It leaves a negative impression toward the Google brand! There should be a way for Google Law Firm to collect information about it's employees phone service. I would fire someone in an instant if they did this!

They just called. Said they were from Google Law Firm. I asked if they were from Google. He said they were a "certified partner" of Google. Tried promising me search results. I hung up.

Like almost everyone else's experience here, these people claiming to be Google Law Firm called and asked for my boss. I hung up on her. It was great.

Next time, I think I will say that I AM THE person they asked for, just to see what happens. So rude to just hang up. WTH are they selling anyway?

The guy asked for my boss and when I asked if it was a sales call, he said yes. I informed him that my boss didn't take sales calls and then he said it really wasn't a sales call. "He still doesn't take sales calls." The guy said: Well lady, you're lucky I'm not in the mood to cuss you out today." My response: "I am! F*^% off!" And then I hung up.

Just received a call from the number above. When I answered the phone, no one was there. This is a law firm as well.

They called and when I asked who the gentleman was, he replied with Mike James or something from Google Law Firm. I thought "nice try" and said that if it was not regarding one of his cases, my boss would not speak with him. He said "ok" and hung up.

They have called this law firm several times, always asking for a different lawyer. I am the manager and told the women we/they are not interested. She was very rude and said she would keep calling back since I wasn't the person she asked to speak to, and then hung up on me. I recalled the number, and when I called right back the recording said the number was no longer in service. How do you get rid of these horribly rude people?

Put a yellow sticky by the phone, when they call, I say no thank you and hang up. I like waiting for them to ask and then hanging up better!

Wow, this is pretty bizarre.
We actually own this phone number! And it is not us making the calls. We started getting lots of callbacks from people saying we called them (we didn't). So we decided to Google this list and, lookie here, it seems somebody is using our number to make outbound calls!
They are spoofing their Caller ID, I suspect this is not the only number they are using.
Very unfortunate as I don't think there's anything we can do to stop this but change our number...

Some a-hole on the other end named RANDY Q, said he needed to speak to the owner, I said I am speaking on their behalf and handle all business matters, he then said this is regarding her "business listing" I said we are not interested in updating anything at this time. To which he replied in a childish snarl: "Well I need to hear that from the attorney so I will be calling back later and slammed the phone down.
This is ridiculous, but I guess he's pissed and not having much luck with his scam anymore thanks to sites like this one!

The same thing happened to me. Thank goodness for caller ID. I have the telephone number written next to my phone when they called back the second time, I picked up and hung up. It felt extremely satisfying!

Another call from this number; hung up when owner not available. Fed up with it! Why even bother putting your number on the Do Not Call list? The "jerks" will continue to call anyway.

This is the hundredth call I have taken from "Google Law Firm". This time I was able to slip in "take me off your list", but you know darn well they will continue to call.

Called simultaneously on two lines. Picked up each--no response. At least if they're soliciting, they should give you a person to swear at.

called at 12:06p with no voice message left.

They are apparently a solicitor targeting law firms. They just called and did not leave a message, but we, too, are a law firm.

The woman calling asked for my boss. I informed her that she was out of the office currently, but that I would be happy to take a message. She indicated that she was calling from Google Law Firm, and would try calling back later. I informed her that if she was trying to sell anything, we were not interested. She said "OK" and hung up.
