This number is a scam. They say they are your credit card company and will give you a life time interest rate of 5.99 % if you provide them with your last 4 digits along with your expiry date.

Just got a call from that number. Said they were from Visa MasterCard so that was a pretty good indicator that it was a scam. They said I was eligible for a lifetime rate of 5% on my credit card all they needed was the expiry date on my card to verify. Second clue...asking for personal info. I told him that I wasn't going to give him any info and that I'd call the company myself to verify and them he hung up. I cancelled my card anyway just in case they had any info. Scumbags!!!

same phone number called, a guy with an indian/pakistani accent -  insisted that he is calling from visa/mastercard and looking somebody that doesn't live at this address.. when i told him he had the wrong phone number he proceeded to try to correct me and when i told him again, he told me that he would like to "f - u - c - k" me so this is OBVIOUSLY a credit card scam.

"Derek" (foreign accent) called today & said my Visa/Mastercard had not been paid & that my credit interest rate would be raised for the rest of my life.  I hung up.  Obviously a scam, but he called me by name.  Avoid this number.  California not identified, just the phone number.

Just receive a call from that number same thing than "fed up" Call Display said California, the guy with Indian/pakistan accent said is name is Ronald Maverick and is calling from Ontario I asked his superviseur and another guy with same accent give an occidental name and says is calling from Calgary Alberta. They knew my name ! Hang Up and put the number in my blocking number apps.

The number and caller idea show up the same, ie both the phone number.  I don't bother to answer and I'm up here in Canada!

Complete dead air - I left the line open until the telephone company disconnected it -  and still nothing but dead air.  

@ 12:41 pm on April 14/2014 my phone rings and my call display said it was from California. I live in Canada! The hindu said he was calling on behalf of mastercard and I could get a lifetime interest rate of 5.8% for life he knew my name and wanted to know the 800 number on the back of the card, no real harm done yet, although he should know the number. The 800 number would let them know what company the mastercard was associated with .ie: canadian tire, president choice, walmart, w/e. then he wanted my date of birth and I said no! You would know that information and tell me what my bday is to confirm it! I hung up and called them back and it rang for a week, No one ever answered so I googled and came here. Next I called  my pc mastercard and the others and enquired. As I thought, no such thing just ANOTHER FORKING CREDIT CARD SCAM!!!

Didn't answer.  Knew it was a telemarketer.  All it shows on display is "unknown" and unknown phone number. No message left
