Multiple calls from this number over the course of the day, morning to night, very irritating. I don't trust any "Out of Area" caller IDs so I did not answer. No message was left.

I received EIGHT calls from this number about three secs in duration. No messages. I called back it has been disconnected.

I have also received several calls, multiple times a day from this number (415-281-4808). There doesn't seem to be a way to get to an actual person so I will also have my service provider block them.

281-4808 has called several times in the last few days with the CID header "California Call" - no area code was displayed. However, i live in the 415 area code.
No message was ever left.
Rather than calling them back, I will block their number with my provider.

415-281-4808 called at 4:47 p.m. with the header "Unknown Name." No message was left.
I returned the call almost immediately to hear, "This number is disconnected or no longer in service."
I believe this will happen if someone calls from a payphone (gasp, they still exist!) or from within an agency, such as local and state government, where the number is unpublished and does not allow call-backs directly to that number.
