got a rude call from a man claiming to be chris from slaughter and sons.  i pretended to page the owner, but i am not stupid enough to fall for this crap.  he was very rude

these people are pure scammers,,,they will try there best to get any info they can from you,,,steer clear hang up immediately,,,do not try to call there company or internet info,,,its all a scam,,,,whatever address they give you is complete false,,,,stay far away,,,never give info whatsoever,,,not one iota,,,,

Wow. 415-366-5899 - what a RUDE, presumptive, jerk "Gary" is.  He called asking for the company owner by name, expecting me to put him right thru.  Refused to leave a message, kept wanting to "hold", and when I would return to the line after putting him on "hold" he would complain about being place on hold.  He will never get thru to my boss while I'm answering the phone.  My boss was listening to me, laughing the whole time.

Caller ID only showed the phone number, no name.  The guy asked for my boss by first name only. I told the guy, "He is unavailable, I can take a message and give it to him when he returns."  The idiot kept asking, "but is he there in the office?"  Said he needed to know before he meets my boss here at the office and then accused me of being rude. I told the idiot 6 times the very same thing.  He finally got pissed off and hung up.   I am extremely sick and tired of telemarketers!!!!  They can take their attitudes and shove it where the sun doesn't shine.

Caller ID showed BELVDR/IBRN CA - Ask to speak to the owner and I told him he wasn't in and he ask again and again I stated he wasn't in could I take a message. Said it was important  he needed to talk to him and huffed and said he would call back. Really tired of telemarketers and their attitudes.

Just like too many others we got a call from Josh from the Wyatt Group. Very abrupt and rude insisting on asked for the owner by name and insisted on speaking with him. He did take the call but after a few minutes of declining any need for his strong handed collection services - we like to keep our customers not alienate them, he hung up on Josh. I keep of list of numbers like this and give them the same attitude when they call back after being told not to.

Just received a call from a man who referred to himself as Gary from Franks Co.  Asked for the owner by name.  When I asked him for more information he became very rude and told me it was a legal matter between himself and the owner and that he was to call him at that moment for a meeting.  When asked for more info. he told me it was above my intelligence and pay scale.  Told him he couldn't talk to me that way and he said he could so I hung up on him.  Definitely a scam.

Called today at 3:30pm on the dot. Asked to speak with the owner. I said he was not available. He asked if the owner was in today. I said yes, but he is not available, and asked who was calling. He said Justin, no company name, and said that he was supposed to call at 3:30pm, (and asked me what time it was) to speak with the owner regarding a pressing legal matter. I explained again that the owner is not available. He said "Tell him who it is, he'll want to take this call, I'll hold, thank you." I explained that I am not able to transfer calls, the owner would need to call him back. He said again, "Tell him who it is, he needs to speak to me" I told him again, I could not do that. He yells "NO! Don't transfer, just go get him!"

I replied, rudely "He is in Ontario, I am in Quebec. You'll be on hold a long time if you want me to go get him! The only way you can reach him is to call his cell phone number, or leave a message and I will have him call you right back if he actually needs to speak to you." He asked what the cell phone number was, and as the final nail in his coffin I answered "I'm not authorized to give that out to just anyone." He mumbled some profanities and hung up.

Hmm, so I've posted about this guy on here before. Last month to be exact.  He called again today asking for the Owner by first name.  Since we have another employee with a similar sounding name I asked by first and last name.  When I said the last name there was a pause and he was like "yes."  (He didn't know who the F he was looking for...just a first name!)  I told him the owner was offsite when he asked if he was there.  

I asked what he was calling in regards to and he said that he "just needed to get a hold of the owner today".  So I asked him again what he was calling about and then there was silence and he just hung up.  Good luck buddy our owner is hardly ever here!  Thinking next time I will say I am the owner just for kicks! Might as well mess with the Fother mucker!  =)

He's called twice.  Asks for owner by name.  The first time was a few weeks ago.  He said he was from the Johnson company.  The second time, I totally recognized his voice and played along for a minute or so, just to screw with him.  He told me there was a message for him to call my boss.  He revealed he was with the Wyatt Group.  Of course, I grilled him as to what the purpose of his call was for, etc.  Since he reveals nothing, he gets nothing.  

I called a company that had the Wyatt group as their client.  Told them about it.  I looked up others, but none were in California.  Then I called the Johnson Company and told them that someone is using their name when they call in to places.  It's not much, but it helps that they know there is a person using their name.  I'm going to look up other companies, and instead of calling, use my anonymous email account and email the few other companies with this persons information.

PRETENDED TO HAVE AN APPT BY PHONE SET UP WITH MY BOSS.  I KNOW BETTER.  I PULLED UP THIS INFO, AS I ALWAYS DO WHEN THE NUMBER IS NOT IDENTIFIED WITH A LEGITIMATE COMPANY NAME.  I GOT BACK ON THE LINE AND TOLD THIS MAN MY BOSS WAS IN A CONFERENCE, WHICH HE WAS. HE CONTINUED THE TONE OF IT BEING IMPORTANT BUSINESS, SO I JUST TOLD HIM THAT SINCE I ALREADY HAD HIM PULLED UP ON THE INTERNET, LET'S JUST DON'T CALL BACK, AND THAT'LL BE JUST FINE. I HAVE DECIDED WHEN I PULL THESE NUMBERS UP, I AM JUST GOING TO START ASKING THEM WHICH PAGE OF COMMENTS THEY WANT ME TO START READING FROM.

This guy was a rude little twirp.  He asked for the owner, which is me but I did not tell him.  I told him they were out and asked with which company he was with, he made up some name "Franks" and I asked him what this was about and he said "are you the owner Maria" and then I hung up on him.  Loser.

After missing several calls from this number I called it back. I actually got through. The guy claimed to be a company who does on site collections on deliquent customer accounts, for a fee of course. Basically they'll harass your customers for money and make you look like a jerk, and you'll pay them to do it. It's a scam.

Received SEVERAL incoming calls from this number today. There is a significant delay between me answering the phone, and hearing several clicks. The last time this number came through, and I repeated announcing our business several times, I hung up, just as someone on the other end may have been responding...... Thanks for all the feedback on this number. I won't be answering it again.

Just called back the 1-415-366-5899 to be removed from the call list. they didn't ask why or who i was. They repeated my phone number then said "whats the slowest person who owes you money so i will give you a price on what we charge to get the money". I told them i have no idea why you would call me when i don't owe anyone and no one owes me. he said have a nice day...I am sure they will call back. So annoying!

Call from a jack*** named "Chris" from 415-366-5899 asking for the owner and saying there was a legal matter he had to discuss.  He repeatedly demanded to know the owner's name.  When I questioned him, he said he was with the Johnson Company. Was completely rude and ended up hanging up on me when I finally said that I was the owner. I called the number back and got "Josh" and he said that it was a matter of "collections." I said, "Collections FROM us or on our behalf?"  He said, "On your behalf."  When I said that we had zero accounts receivable, he agreed to remove our number from the call list.  He was rude as well.  And not that they could or would do anything about these creeps, but the FCC is closed.  The predator telemarketers should be STOPPED!  What a sad state of affairs for our country - telemarketers are out of control!  What a waste of time!  And I won't even go into the ridiculous amount of junk mail posted every day.

I get a call from this number every morning at 10am.  It's always dead air - no one there.

We received a call from this Number also. He asked for the owner and I advised him he was with someone, he said I will wait.  I told him I would need his name and number and what this was In reference to and he said it was a private legal matter.  I told if you want to get past me you will have to give me information.  Then he started yelling that it was a private legal matter.  So I hung up on him.  Then I got on the web site and found all the blogs.  SO I called the number back, this guy CJ answered with no business and I requested the he remove our number from his calling list.  

Caller identifies himself as "Josh" asks for the owners name - when told I'm not giving that information out but can take a message, he is interruptive, tells me to patch him thru to the owner, when told once again that I cannot do that but can take a message, he interrupts in mid sentence and requests to be patched thru to the owners voicemail -- during last sentence to him explaining that I cannot do that can only take a message he hangs up. Calling the number back gets a "number not in service" message.

This rude person went by the name of Justin, demanded to speak to the owner using his name, I put him directly to voice mail, he then came back and had the nerve to tell me to go get him!! Claimed it was a legal matter and it was ugent....when his tone didn't change I hung up.

This guy was very rude!!! Do not answer!! Kept asking for the owner I hung up on him!!

Asked for me by name. Said he was going to send out his door to door bill collector and asked me if I was ready. I laughed and told him I didn't owe anybody money and hung up on him.

Same thing here.  Same caller ID.  He called and asked for owner by name - by his nickname, which is unusual - and said owner was expecting his call at 9:30.  Caller said his name was Chris Johnson of the Johnson Company!

Just received a call from 415-366-5899. He asked for previous owner by name, said that he was expecting his call at 830, and pointed out that it was that time.  I asked his name, and company.  He said Josh and Wyatt Group.  I asked what it was he was calling about and he kept saying it was a pressing legal matter that he needed to speak to him about.  I told him that who he asked for no longer worked here, he asked who the new owner was because it was a private legal matter between himself and them. I said if you don't know who you are calling it obviously isn't a legal matter. He was rude and kept asking for information. I laughed and said no I don't think so and hung up.

Caller ID said, "BELVDR/TIBRN CA. Yes, this guy called and asked for the owner. I said I didn't think he was in, knowing he was out, and he asked be to double check stating that it was very urgent. When I told him he was not in, he asked if he really wasn't there or I was too lazy to check! I said, excuse me? Then he said something very rude as I was hanging up on him. What goes around comes around, this guys going to suffer I guarantee it! He went by Justin when calling here...

Just received a call from 415-366-5899 asking for the owner of our company, told him he was in a meeting, "Gary" refused to leave a message stating he had a legal matter to handle with him. was extremely rude!! Left him on hold until he hung up.

Just received a call, asked for owner by name.  Said it was a "legal matter"  I told him he could leave a message with me, or he could go to voicemail.  Asked who he was, the caller said his name was 'Marcus' from Nationwide Recovery.  When he asked for the owner once more I told him he could leave a message, then RUDELY said, ill update the account and he hung up on me.  (needless to say, when calling a business from a call center, MAKE SURE you don't here the cackles going on in the background)

Got a call from 415-366-5899.  The guy asked who the owner of the company was.  asked him why he needed to know his name.  He stated for a confidential legal matter.  After telling him several times the owner was not available he would need to leave a message with me, he said he would note the account and hung-up.

Just got a call from this number and he asked for the owner by name and like the ones before said it was a pressing legal matter. When I told that the owner was with a customer he said he would wait, no matter how long it took. I asked him to leave a message and a number where he could be reached as soon as the owner was done and he said that the situation would go to legal and a subpoena would be sent out because nobody wanted to deal with it right then and there. I, unfortunately gave him my first name when he asked.

Just got a call from Mike from Stealth(I think that's what  he said), he ws looking for the owner(my husband) and that  he was expecting his call at 10:30.(which it was only 9:30 here)  I told him my husband was busy he said tell him it's me he's expecting my call, I'll wait.  I asked my husband if he was expecting his call he said no it's B.S.  I got back on the phone with Mike and told him he was busy, he said no he's not I just heard him say it's B.S.  I hung up on the guy laughing!  I was just glad it was me and not one of our employees though that could have possiblely been bothered by this guy for a long time.
