Same thing here. Just filed another complaint with the Do Not Call registry. Wish it would make s difference. I never ever ever give out my number, so I agree that it may have been released via a hacked site :(

A guy called saying filled out a survey for Walmart and was I interested in employment opportunities. Definitely a telemarketer and on top of that very rude.

I suspect this was a company that may have inadvertently leaked important information without knowing.  It could be a website or other.  Because when I opted into talking with someone they said I took a survey which I did not.  Please secure your information carefully and do not visit sites you are not sure of.

WN Positions just called me from a San Francisco phone number.  (415) 366-9131 and I answered, there was a tone and an automated voice said "Goodbye".  Being on the National Do Not Call Registry seems to not matter to these idiots.  Because I felt like it I called this number and supposedly I took a survey that said I was looking for work positions.  Somehow that supersedes the fact that one is on the Do Not Call Registry?  I chewed out the Customer Service rep and will be sure to file a complaint with the California Secretary of State.  And needless to say that one phone number of that company is blocked.  Who knows how many more spoofs they have.

Same thing. A guy named "Joseph" from WN Positions. I actually called him back and when I asked specifically what survey he told me he couldn;t talk to me and "good luck with your future endeavors". I politely told him to "Go F*ck Himself".

Joseph is a sophisticated automated machine programed to hang up if you say NO about the survey and if you say yes it will ask you a series of questions.  To the non technical person it will seem like a person.  If you are on the do not call list report it as automated machine calling is illegal in many states.

Came to my cell phone

I got a call from them to my cell, it got disconnected. I called back and there is an option to choose not to get future calls from them.

Unwanted calls from this number. No message.

I got 2 calls to 2 of my cell phones within an hour today. Said I filled out job application online and wanted to interview me, i told him i'm not looking for any job and he hung up. When I answered the second call, i got a recording message telling me that I was the only one in a conference call. What are these guys up to???

Got the call and the hang-up on my cell today 2/27/13. The call was id'd as a Belvedere, CA call although it appears that VM somehow routed their solicitation  through a local exchange. There was no recording or robocaller ... Just a hang up. It get these calls on my landline all the time but rarely on my cell.

just received a call from this number. said hello a couple times with no answer. then the line seemed to connect as I could hear a faint static sound. then beep. then a woman's recorded voice said "goodbye" and the line disconnected.

I just received a call from them today.  I record all incoming calls.  Through analyzing the voice and response structure, I'm convinced that this is some sort of Artificial Intelligence program, looking for specific responses in order to perpetrate some sort of scam.  However, I didn't get far enough to figure out what they were trying to do.  The voice said that I had filled out a survey to receive a Walmart gift card.  When I said I would never do that because I hate Walmart and would never shop there, it responded with I'm sorry, goodbye.

Ditto. Guy said that I had filled out a "recent survey",  that stated I was interested in employment opportunities. When I said I didn't fill out this survey and asked how he came upon my cell number he hung up immediately.

Same story here: Just got a call from a guy about the survey I took and I told him I didn't take any surveys.  He wanted to talk to me about career opportunities with advancement. Are they just calling random numbers? What a waste of everyone's time! I told him I am retired and NOT interested in any career opportunities.

Not much to add, I got the spiel about it being a call in regards to "... an online job survey someone in your household filled out recently..." The guy spoke (American) English clearly and with no accent so I'm sure it originated in the U.S.

I've found that a great way to get idiots like this to leave me alone is to wait until they tell me who they are and then tell them the call is being recorded and they are in violation of the TCPA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telephone_Consumer_Protection_Act_of_1991) and if I receive any further calls from them I will file suit against them.  The TCPA states that we can sue these telemarketers for $1,500 for EACH violation they make.

got same. lead them on about survey and then blew a fire whistle so loud into phone it hurt my ears. that dud is saying huh? alot today.  odd that the number came up from belvedere ca.  dont know anyone in belvedere who needs to scam via phone . blow their ears apart

i just received a call from them.  the guy said he was calling in reference to an online survey I filled out.  I asked him which online survey and he ignored my question and told me he has a few question so we can find the right fit of employers in my area. I told him I am not looking for a job and what survey was this?  He ignored me again and then asked me another question in regards to employment.  I told him I was not looking for a job--- and he again ignored me and asked another question.  I hung up as I was feeling very uncomfortable as to what was going on at this point.  It was really really strange.

Got a call from this number and they hung up when I picked up. Called back and it was a recording from WN Positions or some crap.
