Poor baby! What did she do to you? (Some people need to learn how to proofread. Dolly's one of 'em.)

You were "sicking off" your boyfriend, huh? Interesting. How do you do that???
Peggy of Erdenheim 2013-08-23 19:28:16 Unknown
Just got a couple....no ID on caller ID, just "out of area" Checked both area codes. First was from San Diego and second was this number from San Francisco. Looks like they are targeting the Philly area right now.

Robo call recorded 23 August 2013 (FBI crime stats, "Free" Alarm system & small sign) SCAM
Caller ID: "Home Security"
Called recently from: (586) 231-3711 | (913) 279-0536 | (480) 999-5637 | (518) 292-6634
These people call whether you're on the Do Not Call list or not. Doesn't that suggest something about them? Don't bother to press 9 to be removed from their predictive dialer, they won't. Much better not to answer calls whose Caller ID you don't recognize.
"<female voice>Hello. The FBI reports there was a home break in every 15 seconds. Your local police recommend you protect your home. If you will allow us to place a small sign in your yard, we will install a new security system at absolutely no cost to you whatsoever. There is no cost for the system or the installation whatsoever. To hear more, press 1 now. To be placed on our Do Not Call list, press 9.

pressed 9 to be put on their do not call list even though I am already on the do not call registry. Very next minute- same number same message all over again.

Turned off my answer machine months ago & don't answer unknown numbers. Should be a better way to block them forever. Instead of forwarding to FCC we should forward to our local congress people's phones. If they feel abused then maybe something will happen!
Added to blocker 2013-05-16 18:49:17 Unknown
criminals are now added to PRO call blocker version 2.0...the best $59 you will ever spend.
1200 number blocking capacity..up to 10 area codes can be blocked...also you can block criminals with no phone numbers on their caller ID.
blockers with 50 or 60 number capacity..you will run out of numbers in a couple of months.
FCC is in bed with these criminals:
1-do not answer the calls that you do not recognize.
2-search on awesome websites such as this one,for the phone number and once you see the numbers here,
3-stop wasting your time with useless reports and complaints and by a good blocker.

Home Security calls me from different numbers. Last month it was 256-529-4030, in the last couple of days it is 458-206-1597, 626-657-0520 and 415-375-0922. I have a phone with a call blocker but only up to 20 numbers. What's the point of blocking these robo idiots if they keep changing their numbers? It's just ridiculous....

Robo calls cost nothing to these companies..they can make a million calls a day....if only very small percentage of people fall for their scam it is still profitable for them...reporting them to the FCC,signing your number up with the DNC does nothing..just buy a call blocker...they call once and get added to the blacklist..that's it..next time they call, they get blocked.
Rhoneman 2013-04-10 21:20:30 Unknown
I just forward their number to the FCC every time. Next time they call, it goes directly to the FCC.
It's brilliant for reporting non-profit spammers. My guess is they remove me from the list pronto, but I never know until they change their #. Then that one goes on the list too. Eventually too many calls to the FCC is going to land them in a heap of trouble.

I don't pick up if I don't recognize the number. Didn't leave a message.

Had a little extra time to EF with them so I answered and listened to their message and then pressed 1.
Gave them the totally wrong information - kept them on the line as long as I could.
They finally figured me out and hung up on ME!
HOW RUDE! HA!!!
They are now blocked. Buy a call blocking phone - they work!

Pre-recorded message that says "WAIT, don't hang up. Your home has been selected......"
I hung up. San Francisco call.

Lately many irritating calls from????? Have Comcast number. Am on Fed-No-Call list, BFD

Get these calls on a near daily basis. I block them but they call from a different number every time so hard to stay ahead of them. My new tactic is to answer the phone, (in this case I said "WHAT!") which doesn't matter since it's a robo call anyway. Then they start the pitch and I let it play all the way through. I don't listen to it mind you, just put the phone down on the counter and go about my business until I hear the phone beeping. Then I hang it up. So far this has worked with the credit card scammers. Time will tell but I am desperate to find a solution. We shall see if this works or not. They seem to be unstoppable. The law is useless. And like I would let these law breakers anywhere near my home! I think not.

Same thing, saying it's not a sales call, there's been a burglary, or someone we know has referred us. I doubt all three. We're on Do Not Call, but this robot still calls. Further, I previously pressed 2 to be removed from the list, and the robot keeps calling anyway.
ERSeattle 2013-03-04 21:34:00 Unknown
Breaking unwanted solicitation laws if I'm on the Do Not Call list, aren't they? I will look into reporting this number.

Recorded message saying it's not a sales call, that there has been a burglary in my neighborhood, or someone has referred us for security system........
At that point, I hung the phone up.
DLFMAN 2013-02-21 18:25:02 Unknown
Calls and doesn't leave a message. The Caller ID was "Home Security".

Message saying it's NOT a sales call, that there has been a burglary in my neighborhood, or someone has referred us. It's from a home security company. I'm on the do not call list, and robocalls are illegal even if you're NOT on the list.

Didn't answer. No message left. Callerid same as tel. #
