Get a Lawyer. The Independent Contractor can bare witness to the fact that he said somthing I'm sure he's inocient but it will prove that higher up the chain they are incorperated they did send him a contract and he did say and do what they tell them too. But the contractor could bare witness to your claim he couldent fight it but with a customer letting a lawyer know the problem with a witness willing to contact or not their would be a summunse in court to appare. Any ways thats a case. Going for the fact that something was said to no one's fault but the source. They keep calling me, telling me that they have a job for me as an account executive.  The only places I posted my resume was CareerBuilder and Monster, the day before.  I don't think this is a real job offer.  It is commission based.  They seem to be scanning honest job seeker info from the Employment Sites, collecting phone numbers, and calling to offer a job.  I don't think this is kosher.

I got a call and message from this number... 415-462-8335...whats the deal

I was also told by the rep that they would pay my cacellation fees with previous processor. Did not happen as I could not reach him by phone or mail. Contacted Central Payment. They said they would get in contact with rep but never heard back from them. Rep also wrote on contract: no PCI compliance fees but have been charged 150.00 one time and 60.00 again.NOW on 5-2-2012 they debited my account 4554.08 for my monthly processing fees. I only processed 3167.00 for the month of April . So how could i owe more in fees than I processed? Actual amount I owed was 96.26. When I called they said it was a problem on their backend. Apologized profusely and agreed to pay any overdraft fees I may have incurred. I just had my bank return it NSF. Thought all was well. But today another ACH in the same amount Again came in to my bank. When talking with the Central Payment employee about these erroneous charges I was told I am not the only person this happened to.
So now I wonder if it truly is a system error or is it a SCAM? It just doesn't feel right. They are asking me to just let it clear my account and then in a few days ( after they are sure they receive the funds from my checking account) they will issue a credit to my account. AGAIN it just doesn't feel right to me. Gut instinct.

Call was from Central Payment Corp to confirm a transaction performed yesterday.  I was made aware I would be receiving this call.  Didn't recognize number.

Cpay is on Inc. Magazine's top 500 list of businesses on the grow and that is validation for hard work. It is my belief that some of you are "conspiracy theorists" about cpay because you probably aren't smart enough to work for a company like this. Most of you who made negative posts, based on spelling and grammar alone, don't have the education or experience to be in a job where you sell anything, let alone control your own destiny financially with the results of your own hard work! It isn't right to just go on sites like these and bash a company. You may talk somebody out of this opportunity. Maybe sales professionals should start a message board about the McDonald's that YOU work at and see how you like it.

Perhaps this job is legitimate, like most companies that are commission based only. Meaning, if you don't sell, and give them a cut of your sales too, you don't get paid. Probably about 90% of jobs you didn't apply for are those kind of jobs because all they need to do is recruit you for doing the foot work. Now, I'm not saying these jobs are bad or illegitimate but they tend to be catered to people who don't mind an inconsistent wage or who believe that they can make more in sales. Some people can like them (as described above) and can even thrive on them. Others cannot work for commission only, assuming the commission is worth while too. It may not be a scam but it may not be a dream job either.

This number keeps calling me and a woman name Vanessa keeps sending me emails about a job position, but when I return her call I keep getting her voicemail.

I worked for CPC for a short time.  If you can work for straight commission and you believe in a one call close, this might work for you.  There is a lot of competition and this is not for everybody.  I have been selling for thirty years and I found that I do better in a consultative sales environment, not the CPC environment.   The idea of trying to get a credit statement and faxing it directly to CPC while in front of the customer didn't work for me.  Some companies promise set appointments with the statement already in hand, but I haven't seen that to be a true statement.  Good Luck.

I received a call form this number. The person on the other end supposedly had received my resume and he was trying to offer me a job.  I asked where he was calling me from and he repeated three times in a very rude tone of voice "FROM CENTRAL PAYMENT",  "FROM CENTRAL PAYMENT", "FROM CENTRAL PAYMENT".   I hanged up the phone immediately.  I would not work for any somebody like that.

Central Payment is not a scam. I just got my Welcome Kit from them the other day. I have been going back and forth with them for the better part of a month trying to determine if they were a scam before committing myself to it. I did A LOT of research online during this time and everything is is very consistent and on the level. They get your resume just like every other business, place of employment, and staffing agency would.

What I see here is people that are looking for a negative because they are afraid to try or fail or both. Easier to pass judgement when you haven't a clue. Don't let others sway your opinion.

Looks like you took the first step towards success already by requesting the Welcome Kit. Even if you discover that sales is not for you at least you can say you gave it your all. It wont be easy but anything worth doing isn't easy or everyone would be independently wealthy. I hope you check it out and move forward with them like I plan on doing.
