Ed Burkhart, 415-475-9733 sent me a text and wanted to send me a check for $1500 and would pickup the item listed on Craigs List after the check cleared, sounded to good to be true so I checked Google and looked like others had similar problems. Thanks everyone

Ed Burkhart also contact my wife regarding an ad on Craigslist. Was texting her constantly until we told him to stop. He sent a check for $2100 for something we posted at $600 from a bank in Hawaii. I actually looked on bing maps at the physical locations provided on the check and the fed ex it came in. Completely bogus. Would love to put guys like this away.

415-475-9733 Ed Burkart , Responded to Craigslist add by text message only. Offered to overnight cashier's check and send courier to pick up item after check has cleared. I instructed "Ed" via text that he can send a personal check if from a major bank. I gave him the address to our Law Firm and notified him I needed to speak with him on phone not text. Never heard back from him again. I called the number and it a message forwards a name I give to another number.
