Do not know why I got a call from this number.  No dealing with the medical group

Denial of Phone Service Attack.

CPMC is trying to collect a spurious bill so they keep calling from this number. Then they hang up without speaking. It feels like this is their form of harrassment. Do they think this is like a denial of service attack?

I have a doctors appt. tomorrow at Cal Pac.  i believe it must have been a call on a business line confirming my appt.

I got a call from this number at work. No message was left. When I returned the call I got a message saying it was from the California Pacific Medial Center - CPMC

I had my cell in my pocket at work. It rang one time and then showed up as a missed call.

Receptionist calling to schedule my sleep study with Sutter Pacific.

Got the ring today... missed the call...but same thing like everyone else.

It was CPMC in my case with the doctor's asst responding to a question.  I didn't pick up but she left a message.

This is definitely California Pac Medical. They left me a message for an appt.

Calling the number you see you on your caller ID often doesn't work because large establishments have many, many numbers that are for their outgoing use only.

Wow! It looks like I am not alone. I got 2 back to back calls from this number while I was on a business call so I ignored the incoming calls until I completed my call. No message so I called the number displayed on my phone and received the same recorded message from CPMC that others mentioned. I've never had any dealing with CPMC so I am curious to know what this is about. I don't have a medical condition...at least not one that I am aware of.

For me it was legit - my doc's assistant was confirming my appt.

Got missed call from this number this morning at 6:53am. No message. I have an appointment at California Pacific Medical Center later this morning, but I already got an appointment confirmation message from them yesterday. I assume it's still CPMC.

I received a VERY strange message from a woman calling from this number. I received 4 subsequent calls but with no message. Based on what the woman said in her message, I'm guessing that she is a patient at CPMC's psychiatry inpatient ward. Not sure how I'm going to proceed...

I got a call. Didn't answer. Called back and got a recording saying my call can't be completed and the person that called ma can't be traced. Did any of you that recieved this call have a cannibus card?

My doctor returned a call to me and this was the number that appeared on the caller ID

It's definitely CPMC.  There's a recording there now that says so when I call back.  Apparently that's the caller-id they attach at their PBX to all outgoing calls.

Sometimes I get a call from this number and it's from someone I do business with.

I got a call from this number and he has a strong Asian Pacific accent. He was asking for someone named Ling Ling and if it is Long Life Noodles House.

I got a call from them as well. It rang twice and when I answered they hung up.  Then I got a call from 415-563-4321 also CA Pacific Medical Center which someone actually spoke.

They called my cell four times consecutively this morning.  They did not leave a message, nor did I answer.  It is a land-line based in San Francisco.

I got a call from this number as well. The person on the other end hung up when I said, "Hello"

It's California Pacific Medical Center.  Most likely from Radiation Oncology.
