I got a call from this number last night/ early morning about 1 a.m.  I called the number back and the disconnected operator came on.  So I decide to google the number, and found all of these disturbing comments posted and I am getting scared!  Sounds like someone needs to get a LIFE!!

I got a call from this number, they asked who i was, and Asked me if i had worked at previous employer. Then they hung up on me. I called back and it said it was a disconnected #, dang this is wierd!

I just got several calls from this number last night 3/4/08... I'm thinking its my ex.. but he is in Melbourne FL... perhaps this number comes up from a certain calling card or they are blocking the number from a pay phone.. lol I have no idea.. very very very weird -- they just sat there and said nothing when I answered.. then several times they left messages and it just sounded like the beach.

Just recieved call from 415-656-1073 at 10:42am on cell phone. I did not answer because I didn't recognize number. Called it back and operator came on saying number had been disconnected. I live in Alabama.

i found out who the caller is. it is one-armed scotty from the trailer park.he was calling from a payphone in indianapolis,in. have no fear of him, as he only has one arm.

got a call in Indiana from this number, missed it, called it back and the number was disconnected!!!!

We received a phone call from the number at 1:00pm from the number, having it been from an Ex, which had been stalking me & my family. We were curious to see where the call was from, it said California and we googled it and it located us to this website. I am VERY curious as to why this number has shown up from so many different people. When called back it was "disconnected"!!! Conspiracy?

It is definitely some sort of routing used by a company that operates payphones. My friend called from a payphone right around the corner (in St. Louis) and this number came up on caller i.d.

I got a call on my cell from 4156561073 at 10:55pm on a friday night, I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer it. I went online and found out the area code was san fransisco and the bay area california. I tried to call the # back 5 mins later and it said the # was disconnected or not in service. I tried to trace the # and came across this site.

This is a Pay Phone franchise that is probably owned by this Emad guy. My niece regularly uses a pay phone in Louisville, KY and this is the number that always comes up. And since that town does not have that area code, I'm sure that's the explanation.

This number is a generic number used by a long distance company called IKN. Paytelephones reroute 1+ numbers that the user dials to IKN. IKN in turn routes the user dialed number from a main switch that is located in California - thus the 415 area code. These calls could be coming from ANYWHERE in the US. Also IKN has a switch in Metro Atlanta and thus a 678 area code generated. Hope that explains things.

Got this call on my cell as well yesterday at 12:53pm.  Called back and got the same message.  The way it works at pay phones here in Florida is that they are able to be called back and would not say disconnected.  I don't know how it goes anywhere else, but not too many people have my cell phone number.

Got a call later, a friend tried to call from a pay phone. He could hear me, but I could not hear him. I guess a lot of pay phones from the US use this number to get cheaper rates on long distance.

Got a call in North Carolina. Did not talk. Looked up at whitepages.com, said    California. Called back disconnected. Weird!!!!!!

Got a call from this number from a man who said he was calling me from a payphone in Chicago.

I got a call from this number today. I kept saying Hello, but all I heard was heavy breathing and lots of noise in background, just like a payphone on a busy intersection.

X-Husband used this phone # to harass me... October 27-2007..he lives in Richmond, Illinois- right on the Illinois/Wisconsin Border....Know for a fact he would not travel far to make a phone call.. just far enough away to get to a number that I don't have blocked...

It's a general number used by verizon for a payphone. Nothing weird here.

My boyfriend just called me from this number.  The caller ID said Emad J Hasan.  He was on his way back to Phoenix from Vegas and he was calling from a pay phone in Kingman, AZ.  That is definitely not an Arizona area code, so I was confused.  It looks like the same thing shows up on Caller ID for several pay phones across the country.
