I just talked to "jack" and I told him I wanted to be sued so bring it on. He called me a bi@@h and hung up on me. I called him back and asked him why he called me a fish, he repeated bi@@h. I asked bish and he said it again the I said ditch. He was furious and said I was f.cking dead bi@@h.  Hung up then blocked his number. "Jack" has no sense of humor when you make fun of the con artist!!!!

And a really bad one at that!

These people keep calling and won't stop...they are stupid.  They've even called me from our local area code number and when you call that local number it's disconnected.  They buy our phone numbers and bully their way into making you think you're going to jail for not paying a debit!  A payday loan debit.
They tell me to have my attorney call them and refuse to give me detail information.
I do believe they would be sitting right beside me in a jail cell if that was true!
These people need to b stopped and learn ho to really work!
I am doing like others have done..reporting them to the FTC, and the Attorney General of that state from which they call and BBB.

I've been getting the same message, also for about two weeks now, also from Jack Brown from "The Law Office."  And, yes, it is a big red flag and it is also a scam.  He is Indian with a very thick accent and is very hard to understand.  PLEASE don't even call them back.  The more you deny that this is your responsibility , the more he will cuss you out, call your rude names, and threaten to have the "authorities" come to arrest you.  Better to report them then the to FBI and to the Attorney General of your state, maybe even the Better Business Bureau (BBB).  They all violate the basic rules of the FDCAP, so just be careful.

Three weeks ago started to receive same phone call once a week from law office
of DA Jack Brown insisting a lawsuit is pending . First time I answered asked him
not to call again for there is no such lawsuits pending , Jack Brown still is leaving
same msg once a week!

I got the same message from a man that has a heavy accent pushing me to call back by threatening a law suit.  He did not specify which law firm he was with; huge red flag right there.

I have the same guy calling me at least once a month.  He left me a message today and I called back to tell him I reported him to the San Francisco police department for harrassment and the phone number was not in service.  

After I talked with him last month telling him my attorney would be calling him to file harrassment charges against him and the name of the law firm he was using was also going to investigate the number and file charges against him as well he hung up on me.  I called back and the phone number was not in service.

I looked up the law firm name he was using and called them to let them know what was going on.

I am filing a report with the FTC today, if you all do it as well it might start an investigation.

I found it interesting the two times I talked to him he refused to give me the name of the law office or the supposed company that I owed money too.  

The first time he called I believed everything and was freaking out.  After talking to my bankruptcy attorney he said it was a scam and it's happening to a lot of his clients.  

I wish I could figure out where this guy is actually calling from so charges can be filed.  He's harrassing a lot of people.

This is NOT A LAW FIRM. I had the same guy call me. Jen you need to google the law firm and get the correct number. Then call the law firm itself. This guy does not work for them. He gets a copy of their letterhead. I called the actual firm and they had never heard of him. They told me to contact homeland security, FTC and my local police dept immediately. I would suggest you do so as we'll.

Folks, all you need to do is to go to www.digitone.com and get a Call Blocker.  Cost: about $100.00 with shipping.  Benefit: BLESSED SILENCE on your phone if you do as I have done.

1. Install Call Blocker.
2. Turn on the "First Ring Suppression" feature (you won't even hear the phone ring until Call Blocker recognizes the caller as one you have expressly permitted.)
3. Turn on the "Block ALL CALLERS" feature.  This one stops ALL INCOMING CALLS unless they are on your PERMITTED CALLER list.  You can have 60 numbers on that list.
4. YOU'RE DONE.  Now, none of these various A***OLES can get through to you.

I just received a voice mail on my phone telling be his Name was Jack brown threating a law suit against me. I needto call immediately.
 Very broad East Indian accent.  Never replied.

This is wrong,they are from law firm because they have send me the paper work on my mail that every thing is taking care off,,i don't know why the people says that they are scam i have the copy with the seal of authority,and the jack brown was the person who help me out in this case ,God bless him,,he is nice person,.,

this  person name is jack brown  and called me  but show id  caller first was  210 301 0307 then  left the message says 415 762 0819  what hack  file sue me for this something  the operator  of Relay says cant understnad him very accents..   its gonna be  scam  call   geez   will they stop calling.

This Indian guy called me again today, saying his name was Jack Brown, threatening to file a lawsuit against me if me or my attorney don't call him back. That's it in my best interest to call 415-762-0819. I have called this number before when this same Indian guy said that I owed money for a loan that I didn't pay.  He tried to tell me before that I owed $369.32 to CashNet Advance. I told him I didn't take any loan from that company, to quit calling me. This was about six months ago.  Then he started calling my work number that same day, calling every couple of minutes and tied up our phone system.  I told him to stop calling, that I knew it was a scam and he said "Who told you that?" and I told him that his scam is listed on the internet. He said that he would keep calling until I spoke with his supervisor.  He finally stopped calling my work when one of my supervisors told him that we were going to press charges on him for harrassment because we couldn't get any business calls to come through because he was tying up the phone lines. That's when I looked on the internet and saw all these prank calls related to this number. Don't let this guy scare you into giving him your personal info and definately don't give him any bank account numbers or debit card numbers to take money out of your account.  I'm sure he would clean it dry!

They have called me several times as well but from another number as well.  I noticed they start to call around holidays.  I guess you don't want to go to jail for the holiday... lol.

This is the same message- different number and different person calling- the 5th time in 2 years, Man with Indian accent, says he will have me prosecuted, blah blah blah...   I dont know how to get rid of these people. I have threatened them multiple times and they still call back after about a 6 month break!

THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!! I received the same call from an unknown number and received the same message as everyone else. The caller told me that my name and social were being used in a lawsuit and to call back to avoid prosecution. The caller had a thick Indian accent and said his name was jack brown. When I called the number back from my work number they stated that they were Baker & McKenzie Law Firm. I happen to be a paralegal and the company that I work for has several cases with Baker & McKenzie. I called the number left on my voicemail and posed as someone from my work trying to obtain a copy of an outstanding invoice that we needed to pay. The guy ?Jack Brown? had no idea what to down. One when I called I immediately asked for Jack Brown and the guy on the other line with an Indian accent said ?Speaking?. I?ve worked in this industry log enough to know that NO attorney ever answers their phone directly. Then when I asked for a copy of the invoice he froze and put me on hold 7 different times. About 5 other ppl all with Indian accents picked up my call but didn?t know what to do so they eventually hung up on me. Since my firm does work with Baker I have contacted them and told them about ?Jack Brown? and how these ppl are posing to be from B&M. My guess is these ppl obtained our names and enough info on us to make us think that if we do not pay them $$ immediately we will be thrown in jail. ONCE AGAIN THIS IS A SCAM!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR INFO!! BETTER YET DON?T EVEN CALL THEM BACK!!!

He's just a two-bit Indian or Pakistani Fraud. If you take his call, simply tell him to put it in writing and mail it to you. He refuses, he's a scammer. Simple as that.

Left message on voicemail Jack Brown calling from a law office. Advising me (or my attorney) to call him back at (415) 762-0819. He stated a complaint had been filed against me for fraud.That this was a time sensitive matter, failure to call back would result in my arrest and my bank account would be frozen. The accent was a thick Indian one and I could not understand him very clearly.

Left a message saying he was Jack Brown(?) from a law office. Saying my name and social was used to file a lawsuit and I needed to call him back ASAP for a prosecutor. Call came from an unknown number, but he left this number in the message (415) 762-0819.
