Got a message from this number this morning, 415 869-5370.  He, Scott Rhodes, left a message saying he wants to interview real estate companies for an article and we got chosen.  He only wants the better companies, he stated.  Aren't we lucky?!  Needless to say, after reading these messages, we won't be calling him back!

I received two phone calls stating he was doing a piece on builders and needed a reply back ASAP  if we wanted to be added to the selected few outstanding builders in Santa Clara County.  He states that the list will be published with contractors and developers with outstanding workmanship involving remodeling and construction.. He left this number 415-869-5370.

Got a message on our voicemail at work saying he was doing interviews with ten dentists in the north bay area.  He mumbled the name of the business but everything else came through clear.  The return number he left was 415-869-5370.  Not going to call back as this is obviously a scam.

Got a call from Scott Rhodes " Early and Urgent ! Editor of Mumbler Magazine !
Long winded message only the best of the best would call me back immediately !
I guess being the best makes me smart enough to smell a scam !

He called me from 408-000-0000 this morning and left a voice message. Same pitch. When he says, "I'm Scott Rhodes, the editor with -------" he pulled the phone away from his mouth and mumbled the name of the publication!
It was unintelligible though everything else was clear.

Anyway, I've spoken to reporters before and they are never as nice or spend that much time telling you about what a nice article they are going to write about you so I was convinced it was a come-on.

We were also called, supposedly looking for contractors in alameda county.  Same kind of thing.

Scott Rhodes called me this morning on a (925) 000-0000 number. He said in his message that he was calling contractors in the Contra Costa County area for a piece he's writing, a consumer reports interview. I called the number he left 415-869-5370, but no one answered. He never mentions who he is an editor for, total scam!

I've received calls from Scott on multiple occasions.  I researched his claim of editor and found the company "Prime Buyer's Report".  They appear to be very similar to the Diamond Certified operation for marketing your company.  This will obviously entail some money for listing as I'm sure he's not in business out of the goodness of his heart.  I will decline to return these calls.

I never answer a call from blocked numbers, unknown numbers, or 707-000-000. Scot left me an urgent message to call him back at the editors desk for an interview. Called back to find out what his scam really is, but got no answer.

I just recieved a second voice message from the same guy claiming to wanting to do interviews of contractors in Sonoma County for an article they're doing.

And I thought I was special! (lol)

Received a call this morning from "Scott Rhodes". The first call was a high pitched screech at 7:06 am.  I hung up and about 30 minutes later another call came in on 707-000-0000.  I put the call on reject list.  No more than 2 minutes later a voice mail message was left on my cell.  It was " Scott Rhodes" trying to sell me advertising via a contractor promotion.  His phone # left was 415-869-5402.  Within 2 minutes I called and left a message to take my number off his list.  No answer or call back.  Scam. No company name...so I figure....scammer. Be aware.

This person (name unknown) claims to be an editor of an undisclosed paper, was interested in interviewing contractors in and for the City of Alameda. I didn't bother to return his call. It seemed suspicious.
