Called me at work while I was away from my desk but did not leave a message.  Hopefully they will not call again.

I also received a call three times from this, and had it placed on a DO NOT CALL list.  I assume it is an IT vendor trying to survey me for a product.

Just got a call from this number while I was away at lunch.  I did not recognize it so I did my usual internet search and here I am.  

Calls several times a day.  I never answer this caller id number and a message has yet to be left.  Going on several months now.

Called asking for IT director - put him on hold for a long time and he hung up.

Guy with a Texas drawl - from ? Security,   Named my employer and asked if I was the company's IT Manager. Hung up on him.

no messages ever left. calls my work number 3 to 4 times a day. never answered

415-886-3812.  This number is from White Papers Weekly http://whitepapersweekly.com looking for Company IT Directors. Most likely looking to sell them services. Telemarketers. Most of them are a***oles and hang up on you when you question what their purpose is.  i answered the second call from the guy (same number) with the persons name he was looking for and asked him to take me off his list. he said OK, but we will see if number is really removed.

Man on the other end identified himself as Chris with White Paper International.  He wanted to talk to any IT person as he had a free white paper he wanted to send.  Sent his call to a phone that is no longer used.  Been down this street before.

I just get a voice mail of heavy breathing.  It has happened a few times.

Male with thick accent called and asked for someone who hasn't worked here in years and then asked for someone in marketing. When I asked for more details on the nature of his call, he ignored me and started talking down to me. He eventually asked for the person in charge of our CRM and said, "Do you even know what that is?" I told him that person wasn't in today and asked if he was selling something, he said no and asked for a different title. At this point he was getting mad, I'm assuming because I wouldn't give him any information about people within the company and he proceeded to tell me he'd Google it because I was wasting his time and then hung up. Very rude, though it was funny that he thought I was wasting his time.

called again saying it was an IT survey.  I asked to be placed on their DNC list.

From what people say, a Telemarketer for an I.T. Magazine. I believe it because they just called and asked for out I.T. Manager at work.

Received THREE of these today through my online Lync #. (Definitely a robocal.) I never answer...but three calls in one day is harrassing.

I knew this call was crap before I answered. Woman called asking for the IT manager or the business owner. I told her we don't have an IT manager and the owner is out of the office and asked if there is anything I could help her with. She ignored me and asked if a manager is in. *(Strike ONE)* I told her I am the only one here at the moment but that I run the office and I asked her again if I could help her with anything. She ignored me again *(Strike TWO)* and asked if there is any other telecommunications here in the office ... so I gave her the only telecommunications I had left in me as I slammed the phone down ... *(STRIKE THREE)*!!!

I've gotten many calls from this number and various people.  They already had my info and I just confirmed it was correct.  They do e-mail you white papers on many different topics.  I got tied of hearing from them, so I don't answer any more.  I'm guessing they are getting paid by companies to push the tech docs to prospective clients?  or it could just be a scam of some sort.  They are very persistent to the point of annoying.

This is the first time I received a call from this number at my place of business.  She quickly said her name is Jane and wouldn't leave her last name.  She definitely had a list of names as she was asking for a  number of people.  Of course, I didn't transfer her to any of them.  After she got to the 3rd name, I hung up.  They definitely will go on my "DO NOT ANSWER" list.  Thank God for Caller ID!

Cripes! They just called back AGAIN. I didn't even say "Hello", (have a phone system that works off the computer) and just hit "answer" and the hit the hung-up icon.  LOL.

Caller ID shows Greenbrae, CA.  Female w/accent (?) called and asked for the former IT guy by name.  When I replied that he was no longer with the company, she asked for "whoever was in IT". I asked her what this was regarding, and she said: "Your IT system".  I just hung up on her without saying a word. Shame on me for being so rude~~

Offered to send me some IT publication for free and wanted to confirm my information.  I politely declined.

Male with Indian accent asking for our IT guy by name.  Forwarded, but then checked the number and saw these comments.  Will be blocking them now.

Just a call from this number, something about being selected to complete a quick survey, along the lines of Sales & Marketing.  After pressing on what this had to do with my business line, the person asked to confirm that I was in the Marketing field.  After I said no, the caller asked what field I worked in.  I refused to answer any questions as the person could not provide any clear reason or connection with my job.  Accent was odd, as if trying to speak with a normal American accent, and bad connection. Same issues as above to not being able to dial the number back - says call cannot be completed as dialed.

Got a call from this number at work. The gal intriduced herself as Ashley, wanted to verify I worked in IT. Quite a slurred/accented voice, hard to understand. I am in IT, the guy who had this number 7 years ago did buy software from a variety of vendors, so maybe the number is on some out-of-date list of IT prospects. Told her I wasn't interested and hung up.

Same thing here. heavy accent trying to give me some IT stuff. Scam all the way!

Just got a call from this #. Was a woman with heavy accent & bad phone connection as mentioned above. Wanted to speak to "an IT person". Asked how she got my phone #. - she said "from my database".....really??   lol

They were offering some kind of IT brochure

I received a call from this number a few minutes.  They asked if they could send me an email regarding IT equipment offers, etc.  I asked twice if it was a magazine subscription.  They said absolutely not and that I could just unsubscribe if I was not interested.   They verified my address, which they had, and as they started to hang up the caller said.."OK, they'll (??) be there in two days!".   Of course if you call the number is will say that all lines are busy at this time. ARRGGHH...I bet I'll start getting magazines by Friday.  Who could possibly work for a company like that?

Called me at work and didn't identify themselves, so I asked who they were and couldn't understand her response.  Caller was very difficult to hear and understand as she had a very thick accent. She said I had been selected to receive something, but I couldn't understand what.  She wanted me to verify some information - name, address -- but I told her I wasn't interested and hung up.
