You guys are pretty far off the mark on this one.  Go pick up a Forbes Magazine to see one of the lists that they publish on a number of industries.  They describe their service as being like a Consumer Reports for services companies.  My company was represented on one of their lists last year, and this isn't what you describe above.  This is completely legitimate.

Same speal here asking me to call James King. The caller ID information actually diplayed "James Russak". Funny thing is they want you to call back the same number they are calling from---LOL why not just have the right guy call to begin with or transfer the call on their end when they reach you. This is an obvious telemarketer call list to verify current valid numbers.

Didn't answer, but looked the number up through Google. "Goldline Research" says it's their voice number or their publishing department (depending on where you look). From their website "Goldline Research is a research and publishing company dedicated to creating quality reference lists." Yeah, right - more like a euphemism for a data-mining operation to make lists of valid, answered phone numbers for tele-scumbags. It's supposedly in Novato, CA ...  caller ID said "James King".
