I have received a call from the number by Cynthia telling me to start the payment of the green card lottery but doubted after requesting my Mastercard number

I got a call from this number saying they were from the immigration office and wanted to know if I needed help completing my application.

I just got a call from that guy...with Indian accent...just like you said.... and he was so pushing to get my credit cards numbers.... sth strange...no f**** way :P you not gonna get anything from me :P

He called and said his name is Jason and told me to call 888-975-2054. When I called it back , sounded like his wife answered from their kitchen.. Mind you this number 415-  is a landline. Meaning its his home number. SCAM!!!

I was trying to get my uncle's PR card googled it and got this site for Immigration direct, After going through their questionnaire It brought me to a page requesting my credit card info which I found odd. I decided to not go any further and went to the actual government site to print off the forms. While I was doing that this guy named Neil called my uncle's phone saying he can help with the process, my uncle said he has someone doing it for him the he replies he started the papers already and for him to pay $49 and $19 for him to start his citizenship papers. and to give him his credit card info to proceed and to give the person this number (788) 223-8705 which there is no such number (busy signal all the time scam number). Here's the catch my uncle gave him his visa debit number which you can't use that with everyone so this neil kept calling back and asking about the card number and leaving a different number but called from that 415 number which isn't a Canadian number. What kind of government worker does that! After a little research and reading you blog I told my uncle to call the bank and cancel the card. Thank you very much!

do not answer this number (415)946-4094 he claims to be an immigration lawyer but is actually a scam hes trying to get your credit card information! DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR INFORMATION TO THAT PERSON!

I was filling out forms and then thought I should make sure it was an official gov website.  Which it turned out not to be, and I stopped.  But I still got a call.  Total scam!  (415-946-4094)

I was filling out the form to get a copy of my Naturalization Certificate, and I also stopped at the credit card information part. An hour later this indian guy called me saying he was an inmigration officer and he was gonna help me filling out the form. I asked him a question he couldn't answer. I told him I will go to the offife to get my copy. THIS IS A SCAM.

All the previous posts say scam! And really, it looks like a scam to me just from what I'm reading here. There is no way to make your paperwork go faster, it would be best if you go here to the real USCIS..  And actually let them know what you posted here.. I'm betting it has nothing to do with them and whole lot of getting money from you!

Some one from India called me after I stoped

Yeah I got a call form this number also, when he hear I didn't bring any credit card or debit card in my hand, he is kind of angry.

Well looks like I got scammed, Was told to pay $159 and fill out forms...Later I checked bank account, they took out $ 159 twice=$318   Same number 415-946-4094

So you hope those who are actually going about getting their immigration papers/status the LEGAL way fall for this scam?  Your post doesn't even make sense.

Yeah I got a call from this number too claim to be immigration but I check for the number and he keep calling me and I toll him I could do it on my own.

They have a webpage that resembles the uscis official webpage, once you enter your info to create an account, they ask you for your credit card/ paypal account. do not proceed. If you gotten this far, go to your profile and change the info with fake info. it will not allow you to change the e-mail address that easily, you can download google chrome to map out the webpage and look for your address in the space at the bottom of the page. select it and delete it, or better, replace it with a fake one ;)

Yeah like the other posts, I also tried applying and stopped at the credit card information number. Then got a call from this number soon after from a guy with an indian accent asking me for the credit card number. Then gave me a different phone number: 877 298 5234. Something seemed not right so I didn't give it to him. I wish someone would get to the bottom of this because it really pisses me off.

I also filled up the application on-line, and a lady with an accent said she can help me fill-up my extension for I-539 and she does not even knoe what she is talking about. She said how lone do I want it for 2 months, 3 months and then I said the first one the immigration gave me is 3 years so i don't know why she is talking about months.

She said all i have to oay is $165 and i said call back again cos i want to confrm it first myself if it is a scam and apparently so it is a scam!

I got the same call 2x from a man with an Indian accent named Mark after filling out the form but not paying the $189 processing fee. Then immediately received an email from support@us-immigration.com after he left a voice mail. I was certain it was the US Immigration's website I was on, but apparently not? This is a good reminder to be very careful about giving out any personal information.
