A Google search of "416-244-7964" came up with "Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy."  I Googled "Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy" and came up with over 3,000 listings.  The address listed for the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy (O.F.C.P.) is 1630 Lawrence Ave. W., Suite 104, Toronto, M6L 1C5.  Two additional local telephone numbers for O.F.C.P. are (416) 244-9686 and (416) 244-6543.  There is also a toll free number for Ontario - 1-877-244-9686.  Perhaps they need a taste of their own medicine.  Should the next step be a class action lawsuit against them for harassment?

Someone calls up with an Indian accent, he kept calling me by my husband's last name and when I finally understood what he was saying and said "yes", he hung up.  I dialed *69 to get the number 416-244-7964 and when I dialed back, nobody would answer even though I let the phone ring endlessly.

When I answered she said my first and last name and when I asked can you repeat what your saying. An she replied you dont understand. I replied yes. And then she hung up on me. When I called them no one picked up. It ran endlessly. Pretty scary.

I also get these calls everyday and I have no idea who they are or why they are calling. At first I thought it was Revenue Canada but my brother said he gets the same calls and it's a window company. Anyway, I've had enough of them calling. I just went to the "National do not call List" site and made a complaint. You should do the same and while your there register your number if you haven't already to block telemarketing calls.. I did several months ago and it helps!

I received a call from this number, (416) 244-7964. I said hello twice and they hung up without saying anything. Never a good feeling when you are at home alone. I retrieved the # using *69. I called them back and let it ring forever and they did not pick up. If they are legit they have zero trust from me. You don't call someone up, listen to them saying hello for a minute and hang up. That is wrong and is on the same level as a prank call. I am thankful I found this discussion on the internet so I am more informed.

They may be a little bit frustrating to talk to, but they do work for a very deserving charity. They usually don't ask twice if you say you have no clothing unlike other charities do for donations. We donate several times a year and we have no complaints.

Call me almost every day and do not leave a message. A little bothersome as I hate home solicitation on the phone.

they're actually pretty legit..they will come by and pick up stuff that you would otherwise throw away..donated to them several times in the past.

The Executive Director is Clarence Meyers; phone number 416-244-9686 or 1-877-244-0809. I'm planning to call him tomorrow and ask about his choice of telemarketers. As it stands now, I wouldn't give this organization a cent and intend to let him know.

I agree, this is harassment.. these morons are calling my Mother-in-Law everyday sometimes 2 and 3 times a day and they always hang up without ever saying anything.... It seems to me that these tele-marketing bozos must be getting paid for every call they make.. Think about it.. If they call and you answer and they go through their "pitch" it can take 30 seconds or more.. However, if they call then hang up immediately after you answer, it only takes about 3 seconds, then they move on to the next call.. That way they can make a lot more calls per hour/per day.. I'm guessing they get paid for each call and they keep a log to show their client(s) how many calls they make..  Now think about this; how many clients call and ask if their telemarketers have done a good job for them? ... It's the only logical explanation I can think of..  Why else would they keep calling and keep hanging up ??  A55holes...

they call me daily,i can hear people in the background but they wont answer when i say hello or try to talk,when i call them back they wont answer....i am pissed.

I heard it's possible that they're one of the fake charities recently reported by the Toronto Star.

I hate their caller id which says "ONT FEDRTN FOR" which sounds like they're from the Feds.  Blacklisted.
