this number 416-294-4540 called and usually I don't pick up calls from outside my province and block them right away, but today I felt like having some 'fun with telemarketers'. Unfortunately, after I said 'hello' a tape came on "this is Credit Service... yadayadayada...". So I hang up. I dialed the number via SKYPE, result: "THE NUMBER YOU HAVE CALLED IS NOT IN SERVICE".

This number called me on April 3Rd and i called it back and it said to hang up.it might be a cell number. It was in English and French.

I've had a few calls from this number over the past few days. They never leave a message. In my experience, legitimate companies don't do this sort of thing. I won't ever pick up when I see this number.

Got a call today. some woman talking about credit cards so I hung up. Called the # & it is a cell phone. The 294 is managed by Rogers.

Received call from 1-416-294-4540 on 4.4.14 at 11:27. Credit Card Services, claiming to reduce interest rates. Press 1 for reduction of rates. Pressed 1 and told operator to shove her scam up her @ss. She responded by saying that I made her day!...lol... and to have a good weekend.

I received a call from 416-294-4540 at 11:39AM 17 Mar 14. No message left. From internet research, it appears this number is used by a telemarketer or credit company offering a 1% Interest on new loans. I wouldn't respond to this type of solicitation and recommend adding this number to your block list.
