Why do I have this sneaky feeling that this post came from the scammer(s) themselves?
There is something awful strange about these calls....
I just got one as well. They also 'believed' I make $50,000 - but they did seem to know about my single status....

Same deal. Says we won a prize, that either myself or my wife filled out a ballot at Christmastime.
We did not.
Says we've won either a TV, 1000 dollars, A cruise, a resort trip or a trip to Florida. They also thought our annual income is $50k. This is likely either the national avg. income or their way of getting real demographic info out of people "No - you have that wrong, my real income is..."

it's the same scam because I talked to them and they said that their Woodbridge Office is called TVS resides @ the same address I see on the website I posted above.
Isn't there any way get them by something like report this to the police or something?
I'm goin2 find out see if there is anything I could do about it w/ the police.

Caller advised my name was drawn from a ballot I filled out at Christmas!!! time, saying that I won a prize, no strings attached, and need to pick up my prize of either a tv, cash, cruise, resort trip (we don't play golf), or a trip to Florida. Somehow the guy thinks we make $50 000 a year and when I told him we don't make that.... he was caught off guard. I've been to things like this..at resorts.. and they want to sell you time share stuff. (That's what the 90 min is for??) Anyway, they say there is no catch... and you definitely get a prize.. catch: spouses have to attend as well. Needless to say, I'm not going..I don't believe you can win any of this for nothing. use your own judgement.

Caller advised they were doing a promotional giveaway from ballots filled out giving away prizes. In order to claim prizes you have to attend a 90 min meeting the caller said they are not selling anything and it is all legal according to provincial laws and all cost is covered by their sponsors. I am not sure what the deal is as I have not attended the meeting.
