It's a pattern of calls that I received. Every few months, it start with number of survey calls from different companies(sometime I got 4 to 5 different survey company within a single day), then the next wave will be air duct cleaner, home alarm system, cruise vacation or windows & doors. Final stage will be a collection agency's phone call....asking someone that I don't even know or met. I live all by myself with no debt, no late payment. I just don't know why I become a  popular person or phone number for these agency to call me and harass me. Don't know why my number associate with all these people who run away from their debt. If they use their brain to think....if someone run away form their debt, will they tell anyone (especially to a total stranger) where they are going to hide??
I think all these air duct, home alarm, cruise vacation or windows & doors are the foot soldier working for a collection agency. First, who would spoof a number just to call a small number of people, not even more than a handful of complaints a day.
Second, callers always very rude.
Third, the time zone.
Fourth, when you file complaint to CRTC, not much help.
(don't tell me CRTC can not track these people down. ever heard of "Automatic Number Identification".)
I think that's a give away.
well, I already got a few survey companies called me...I ask who is funding for those survey...no one can answer me. Now this....so I think the agency will call soon...by then I can update everyone here who is behind all this calls and who they are looking for.

when called back number not in service?????

Hung up as I did not know the caller, no company name displayed but I called the number back. There was a recorded message that says ``this number is not in service, please check the number and try your call again. This is a recording``.

They called again last night, it's a duct cleaning call center from Pakistan. DNCL can't help you since the calls are from Pakistan.  

Got call from this # today , didn't answer. After I called back this # 4163425678 recording said # is not in service.

I don't understand that if a # is not in service, How I can get a call from the not in service #.

That stupid guy called me from this number and insisting that I have a duct cleaning appointment with them and kept on asking for more information from me. I told him that I never called their number ever and he said that he's an Enbridge employee and wants to confirm some info.  It's a scam so don't ever pick up when you see this number!

Another call and another no message left

Received call from this number at 12pm today and when I answered it was silent on the other end. Just hung up

This idiot called my home number at 8:41am on Monday, November 4th. When I picked up the phone, there was silence on the other end. Hung up and called the number back. There was a recorded message that says ``this number is not in service, please check the number and try your call again. This is a recording``.
How is it possible that the number is not in service if I just received a call from it a few moments ago?

Called yesterday but I didn't pick it up since we didn't know the number. They left no message. I called the number back but it says it's disconnected. Whoever is calling is spoofing that number.

Received a call today, foreign voice at the other end that pronounced my name wrong. I hung up.
