They tired to call me from 416-444-3775. When I answered the call rudely by saying "WHAT?", the caller on the other end (a male) fumbled/studdered and asked, "Did you just call me?" I told him I knew what he was doing and that I found out via the internet. I told him DON'T call me back or else there would be trouble.

He hung up.

Got a call from this number and "Sandra" with a very heavy Indian/Pakistani accent says she is calling from Microsoft Windows about my computer. She said Microsoft received several error messages from my computer and wanted to "Help" me wipe it clean, just required I sign on and give them remote access. When I began asking questions about security and her supervisors name and contact info she became very evasive and then angry I was questionig her. I took the opportunity to test my new FireFox whistle, surprisingly she wasn't there after that!

These a****oles call me daily and hang up. I hope they get herpes.

I just got a call from this number.  The guy on the other end had a thick Indian accent.  He said he was from computer services and asked if we had bought services through them.  I said no.  He seemed incredulous and asked how old I was at which point I hung up on him.  It seems like just another variation of the Windows/Microsoft computer repair scam.

SEO Scams. They are from India, using Toronto phone numbers. Their website is on page 9 for SEO related keywords, yet they are offering SEO work....total joke!!

I just got a call from the number. When I asked who was calling, they just kept asking for me by my first name. When I said, "I have to know who's calling right now" the man told me to mind my own damn business. I swore at him and hung up immediately.

But this time they had my name... it worries me...

These people usually called from a weird unknown area code.  But back then I told them to "get f..king Lost"  now they seem to be calling from a local number calling themselves the "Redemption Centre"

Friggin scammers

Recieved a call about the credit card rewards stuff. I believe they called me from another number earlier that day. I let the lady ramble on before asserting "That all sounds fantastic! What personal information do i need to provide to reclaim my prize?"

"Sir, we just need to verify your email address and physical address." .
"oh, is that all?"
"yup, thats all"

she hung up.

Received call from this number saying they were from Windows service department.  When I asked again where they were calling from they answered with the same but rudely.  Hung up on them.  After reading reports, I tried calling number back ... not in service.

Just got a call from this number today at my home in Toronto.  I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message.

I finally talked to this pissant twice this evening. It is a collection company called Total Contact Resource (?) trying to collect a debt they claim I owe to Canadian Tire from 1993. I've been getting sporadic calls on this nonsense since 2005, if you can believe it. They also used 416-360-8879 a few minutes later.

Microsoft tech-support scam. Second time in 2 nights receiving the same call. both Had an Indian accent, claiming to be from California. Said my computer has been sending warning messages in the last 3 to 4 days. I Pretended to go through diagnostics with him on the phone for 20 minutes before I Called him a liar, since I have no computer. He Proceeded to call me an SOB, told me I can do nothing about it, and that he had my information and would F my mother. Let them give their spiel waste time and then hang up before it becomes confrontational.

I received a call from this number = the caller was a woman who was hard to understand and she was basically yelling into the phone -- she said that she was calling from Mircosoft because they were receiving security error messages from my computer -- I quickly realized that she was not a professional and I hung up on her.

They called claiming my PC infected and when I asked how could they possibly know and ask if they are from Microsoft the caller said yes, I asked for a manager and the manger name was same as the first caller ? and when I asked if they are from Rogers , he said yes and very rude and when I asked to not call me ever again , he kept saying what is your problem @#$##  ? hung up on them ? would like to report them but not sure how

The same number called stating that they are calling from Microsoft and that my computer was downloading malicious software. He had an indian accent. He wanted to use a program to go into my computer and help remove the viruses.  When I told him that I had to go out and asked him for his number so that I can call him. He gave me a name and number that does not exist. He gave me John Daniels...1888 414 3791.Stupid sick people. I hope that everyone reports this and it would be nice if the police could get involved and try to find out who this low life is.

I used all my call blocks, so I had to drop one fool off to add this number. Don't care to know if it's the Pope calling.Just get off my damn phone.

Just got a call from this number.  The man had a very thick Indian accent.  It was the same thing as some of the above people have reported -- claimed to be from "Windows" and that he was calling me as a service because my computer had a malicious virus that he could fix.  When I asked for a number to call back to verify his company, he hung up on me.  Sounds like a total scam.  People, beware!

This number called a senior client of mine and told him he had a malicious virous on his computer and he could come and fix it for him. The client said he was busy at the time and this person has called back twice trying to come to the home.
