Just received a call from John from World Trade Group asking for our CEO.  It is our practice not to transfer calls to our CEO without qualifying the call.  So as I attempted to get additional information to better assist him, he became extremely rude, insulting and totally unprofessional...then hung up.  I wish there were a solution for the solicitors...they are relentless and make it so hard for the honest people who are trying to drum up business in a professional manner.

Caller ID says, "World Trade Group".  The caller speaks over you -- no matter what you say.  Stated that one of "our" customers had provided "the referal" (obvious lie) -- to attend a seminar which addresses "our" line of business (another lie).  "Hog-wash", I thought to myself, "our customers know better".  The call was bogus - a scam of some sort, for sure!  I "blocked" a return-call, to the same number -- which then -- RINGS and RINGS and RINGS (of course).  Will attempt a back-trace using FCC-rated device that we keep here (which also records and datalogs all such incoming -- harassment).  The basis for the call was OBVIOUSLY ill-intended, and probably ILLEGAL by its very nature (yes we are also on the "NO CALL" list).  If we can nail these b*****ds, we'll sue to get the mandatory fines (oh yeah)!

Calls from 416-360-xxxx, including this one, have been besieging my cell-phone for several months now.  I've never answered, but it is very annoying.  Can't something be done to put these people in jail?  Or at least fine them?

Called for our VP, Operations. Caller said "I am so-and-so from such-and-such marketing co. (said it so fast it was almost impossible to understand). Can you please tell xxxxxxx that I'm holding?"  Very rude. I told the caller that the person they asked for was on business travel and that I took calls for this person. I asked if I could assist them. They said "Nope, I'll call back".  Glad I googled the number....

Called for the CEO. Tried to get info out of him. (What, was I supposed to, just connect? Haha!) Caller gave as little info as possible, so I googled. Then I simply picked up the phone and in one quick swoop, told him we were not interested, and to take us off his list, and (in a southern manner) told him tave a great day! Then hung up on last syllable. Bless his heart, he never stood a chance with me!

Very rude and insulting.  Will not do business withe those who have such an attitude.

Trying to sell something. They are not so polite if you say no. They threat you to go to your competitors, bad and ineffective marketing. Avoid!!

Called my cell, did not leave name or voice message.  Called back, not answer!
