They called my work and tried to get my banking information, I hung up on them

Great info on the posts! I have been receiving VM messages for a Lisa Huson from 416-447-8899. As well as  1-877-227-0055. For this number the message is Alliance 1... "personal business matter". The calls started a few months back. They come in over the weekend, and week days. The calls stop, and randomly start again to any hour of the day. My thought on this is SCAM with attempts to elicit personal information. Not cool...

The best way to inform these guys of their mistakes is to go to a payphone and leave a message.  By using the payphone they don't get to see your number.

She left a voice mail saying there was a very important message and left her extension number 255. I did not reply.

I get calls from this number daily and I owe a truckload of cash to Royal bank visa Canada so I think this might be related.

They kjeep calling...i live out of town now so i moved and they called me at 7:00 in the morning!!!!!....they keep calling which is annoying.They dont have any respect whatsoever.....How do i block numbers from cellphones

This lady from ALLIANCE ONE (or something she didn't really speak english) kept calling from 14164478899 ext 7477 and leaving msgs for AMY HAYES.  She was calling our fax number.  She was trying to tell me she just did a check with revenue canada and AMY HAYES' contact number has been our fax number forever.  She said I don't believe you mamme...and I started to get mad.  She hung up.  I immediately phoned the number back and asked for her supervisor...and of course got voice mail.  I left a nasty message and hope they stop calling.  If not I will have to get our phone company to block it.

I received an unwanted call from this number asking for someone called Claudia. There is no one with such a name at my home. I called back but there is always an answer machine. I did not let a message because I do not want to give my name to anyone I don't know.

Woman calls leaves msgs for a John Boyce, we ignored them as there is no John Boyce here, never heard of him..was home today, woman phoned,asked for John Boyce, told her no John Boyce here, and I was continuing to tell her about calling here and leaving msgs etc and hoping by now she would have got a clue by now..she hung up...We would like this to stop please...thanks..

Further more, any more calls or msgs for this John Boyce person from her..I am calling the telephone company and launching a complaint..if that does not stop them, I am calling the police....

She keeps calling our number asking for a John Boyce and leaving msgs for a call back, of course we ignore it, no John Boyce at this number never heard of him..we thought maybe she would get a clue someday that she has the wrong number and smarten up..however home this morning ill, she calls, I tell her no one at this number by that name, and as I started to tell her about her many msgs left and how by now we felt she would get a clue..she hung up on me..thats when I dialed 1-416-447-8899 and heard someting about Alliance something..all you have to do is type that phone number in to google..and wow..lots of info folks..

is there any way to stop this

the automated message that i get when i answer my phone is 'alliance one'. the message refers to a credit issue. appears to be a scam of sorts, but i am getting tired of paying for the cell phone minutes when i answer.
