Called me a 6 AM and said it was regarding my taxes. Told them the CRA doesn't contact people pver the phone they send letters and the guy hung up.

This is a collection agency. CBV collections, they don't answer when you answer the phone.

This # calls several times a day for the last 2 weeks. I reported it to 1-866-580-3625

These people call all the time...They're with collectors, most likely your student loan.  They say it's urgent, but when you call they take forever to answer, and all they say is that you are behind.  Regardless of if you're months late or a day. They don't care. They're annoying

You can't do anything about CBV Collections.  It's the federal government collection agency.  But I really get sick of them calling and hanging up.

cbv collections..they kept calling, it was for money I did owe and knew i owed so i paid it. next thing i start getting calls from them about more money i owe that i never heard of and they had no explanation. scam??...

They called left a msg with my friend saying it was a govt of alberta matter.

Yes, I'm having the same problem.  I think it is a Collection Agency CDC or something, and I was told it was a student loan.  I did speak to a person and I was not polite.  I got a call again today.  It is harrassment and I would certainly like to file a suit against these people.

I had one message left , and I'm sorry I never kept the 800 number and extension.  I honestly didn't think I'd get yet ANOTHER call.  They are relentless!

I forgot to mention that when I did answer this crap at the beginning I was asked if I was such-and-such a person.  I informed them no and then the calls began in abundance   ---  at least 2 3 calls a day.  Now I just got off the fone when this number rang.  I answered without speaking - just held the receiver to my ear and a female asked me again if I was so-in-so.  No.  How many calls does it take for s****eads to actually learn.  This is harassment and once I find out who is responsible for this I will sue.  My fone provider said that this is a government contorolled number and to contact my MP which I am in the process of doing.

I have had my fone# for 7.5 years.  Last month I began receiving calls from this number.  They play elevator muzak for over 2 minutes and then laugh.  I have tried repeatedly to have this stopped to no avail.  My fone provider has told me repeatedly to contact the number and de-register.  Fact is -  I did not 'register' in the  first place.  

This is fone abuse.  My efforts to stop this form of s*** have not worked.  I am house bound and an invalid and don't need this agro in my day to day living.

This number calls multiple times per day starting at 8am and continuing into the evening. I never answer and there is never a voicemail left. I am sorry but if you cannot leave a message do not expect me to ever answer your call. Clearly this is a garbage call.

I still haven't bothered to wait on hold, I'm getting about 1 a day now too. What do they say after wanting your address? Do they even identify themselves or explain why they're calling?

they should get the cops called on them due to harrasetment matters when they call as many times as they do.

This number calls every damn day and I am SO sick of it. Its the same as someone else said you answer and it says please hold for an important business matter. Then someone answers and says Hi can I start with your address please? Umm...no you may NOT have my address!!!

Have called me twice more since I left this note here. Still no message. First time I screened them, second time I was busy with someone else and didn't answer. They call every few days.

Automated answer stating they were calling about an "urgent business matter" and to please stay on the line. This is not my business phone, it is my personal cell phone. Hung up. If it is really an urgent business matter a human being will contact me.

They say the call is urgent and will be with you in a moment but keep you on hold for a long time.  They don't say who they are.  Must be part of a scam and legitimate.

These people just will not believe that I am not the person they are trying to find!!! Totally ignorant!!
