4164937706 is a company called Nanos Research. They called me at work several times and their name came up on call display. Not sure what they wanted or what they do but wanted to speak with someone in our advertising/market department.

Rec'd a call from this number - no message was received - tried caklling back, got a busy tone, called back again, and got a recording to say I had reached Nanos Research.

Searched for Nanos Research, Toronto on the Web, as the 416 area code is for Toronto Ontario, and found the following links & info ...

the telephone rang at approx 17:55. I picked up, no answer, dead air.

phone rang at about 5:00.  No answer, hung-up when I said hello the second time.  Called the number back twice - no answer.

Call Trlus at 403-3120-1000 Option 1. I called and they call the number. It belongs to Nanos Research company !-888-737-5505 Ext 223. CEO is Nik Nanos.

Received a call around 8:20 PM from 416-493-7706. Left the call for my answering machine to pick up. Left no message. Just dead silence.

This number called last night (Feb.11/10) and again today.  Last night when I answered no one was there.  Today when I answered, there was a hesitation, then "sorry, wrong number" and they did not answer my question as to who was calling.  What a pain in the nose!!!  Can anything be done about this type of call???

called and didn't leave a message.  It is an election year so get use to annoying calls.

By the way, I run a call centre and I know that i will be going straight to hell but i don't even care.  Cause i get a butload of money to do it.  I can't call you late enough or often enough.  and the do not call list. ha. we don\t even use it as we are exempt by just saying it is a survey.  if we ask one question it is legally a survey.  anyway some real advice.  
DON'T ever answer your phone, screen every number you don't know and don't even leave a name on your answering machine or voicemail.  when we hear it we program it in to call you even more as you just confirmed it is a real number.  good luck and remember don't ever answer the phone after a while it will decrease.

I received this phone call and just get beep from the fax machine

I also received a call this evening from this phone number and there was also silence. I called Nanos Research at 416-493-1965 ext 223 which has been noted is CEO Nik Nanos's extension and left him a message telling him my phone number and asking him not to call me again and marked the message urgent. My suggestion would be to call Nanos after hours and leave him a message with your number and do the same.

I called the number and got a voice message system for Nanos research.

Did any of you use the *69 for last number that called you.  I have a feeling its somehow connected with bell. If you use this *69 to retrieve the number that called you not just for this call but any calls you missed they know your a user of *69 where for everytime you use it they charge you heavily for it.
$1.50 just for use of *69 + another $1.50 or less for connection fees. Bang... there goes your telephone bill.  Stay away from the *69 number if at all possible.

I got an unwanted call from 416-493-7706, despite being on no call list.

I got the call from this number but when I picked up the phone nobody responded me.

Have been getting the same type of calls from this number, annoying.

I just got the call and did not recognize the number. I usually don't answer if I don't recognize the number but I thought this time, what the heck. Sure enough, the split second I said hello, there was a click and then silence.

Found out this number belongd to Nanos Research of Toronto. Called Telus(403-310-1000 Option 1 ) to complain. She called the number and got arecording Nanos Research. There toll free # is 1-8880737-5505 Ext 223 or ask for CEO Nik Nanos.

These a***oles call me every day and hang up! i called back and left someone a nasty message!

called and left a message about killing it because it's his, over and over, all in a row. Freaks me out!
