Got the call on Sunday night! Wife spoke to a Jeff Jordan who sounded nothing like... and I been dreaming about a 42" LCD ever since. Today was the fateful day for our appointment and lucky me that I googled the name for the location map and came across this forum. Thanks for all your posts...I guess no LCD TV for me!! LOL

Can't wait for them to call back so I can harass them in return...hopefully on Sunday night...

I had a very nice long chat with Shane - ext 147 - on May 5 regarding all of the wonderful prizes that were being offered to me because I had filled out a contest entry form. I know I hadn't hadn't done so but they siad I probably just forgot since it was a few months ago.

I listened dutifully and responded when required as I watched TV and took down all of the information including my gift code and where I can pick up my prize after sitting through a 90 minute presentation - not a minute more at 1510 Drew Rd.

I just called PhoneBusters to report them with all of the information. They're not exactly doing anything illegal but they are misleading.

Just got a call .  It was the same as all the ones I read on this website.  The phone number though was 905-241-1023.  The supervisor's number was 416 -548-5983  X828.  He was " William Lee".   Thinking of talking to the police.  Has anyone done this?   I have been  on the no call list for a long time so obviously it isn't  too effective.  I am very concerned that they had information on me.

I won too!   I had a hell of a time understanding them though.  They asked me if I remember filling out a ballet in 2009.  I said "no".  Their response was it did not matter because it was so long ago.    I'm an extremely skeptical person to begin with but I listened (with great difficulty) to the same pitch reported above.  My senior supervisor was William Lee 416 548 5983 ext 822.  The difference was I was told I had one all five prizes, and then it changed to a draw for one of them.  I really hope people report these people to whoever they can to help prevent this crap in the future.  I found it really funny that as soon as I googled the name,  This thread was at the top of the list.   I will be requesting another credit report though.  Can't be too safe.

As above - same info.  I did call both my local police and the RCMP Phone Busters at 1-888-495-8501.  I appears they sell timeshares and want you there for exactly 5:35 or 8 pm, so make you sit for 2 hours and hard sell you.

I was spoken to by a James and a Johnny, both with a thick Indian accent and the number was 416-548-5984 Ext 117.  When I called back, Johnny was no where to be found.

I gave this guy a hard time as well but he managed to get me to listen. Difficult-noisy background like it was the stock exchange or telemarketer. [ I called the number and some woman answered[ wrong number] Anyway after telling me the scheme,he transfered me to Daniel Hopkins [strange same first name and sounded like Daniel Richards] also foeign is number was 416 548 5983 ext 243.   I got the same information and directions for tromorrow night. When I said my husband was deceased that ,he told me to take someone else[MALE] and say he's my common law husband and we have a combined income of 60,000. also bring 1 picture id and 1 other. I just called 416 548 5983 number not in service.Have a good night all and happy Mothers' Day on Sunday to all Moms out there!

I had a Phone call from 416 241 1034 same scheme as all of the other posts on this board, after awhile I asked the guy if he had ever seen the movie Pulp Fiction and then he got a bit worried, told me the conversation was being recorded! W**ker!

I just had the same call - spoke to a woman I could barely understand at first, then her "senior Mgr", William Lee.  (strong accent). He went through exactly the same stuff, assuring me it wasn't a timeshare.  The woman told me I didn't seem very excited, and I said that usually, things like this just don't work out like we've been told!  There are only certain times you can pick up your prize, so that was a big tipoff.  I then said I had to discuss it with my spouse, and hung up.  Went to Google, and found this!

somebody called me a few mins ago numbers 41665485984 and 9052411058...first they are persistent but when i told them i dont have a job and that my husband was working in wall-mart. they told me ok goodbye.

Thanks all for posting about this. Got 905-241-135 calling me about 10 mins ago on sat. morning. As the lady and her supervisor were blah-blah-blah-ing about the same things everyone mentioned, I googled the f-source company and found this site. If it wasn't for their strong accent so that I understood what they were saying right away, I would've hung up much earlier instead of patiently trying to comprehend the purpose of the call. Upon reading all this, I eventually told them to NOT CALL ANYMORE and hung up.

Has anyone actually checked out that address (1510 Drew Rd. #6, Mississauga) from a distance outside? Is it as dodgy as I'm imagining it to be?

Same story as the rest of you. A few thoughts on how they get the identifying information:

- whitepages.com or similar will give all the information about address and phone number.
- they simply GUESS that you are married -- many people are -- and if you say you are not, they tell you to bring someone else (as a few posters have mentioned).
- they also GUESS at your age and household income, by doing two things: 1) using a broad enough age range that many people will fall into it and 2) suggesting the answer they want, since their target is people 27-65 years old who have an annual income of 60-65k, since those are preople who:

-- are generally working, with kids, so want free stuff, have the income to support a timeshare or will qualify for credit cards, mortgages and other things identity fraud is used to get, and
-- are generally working, with kids, so don`t have time to be too vigilant about checking into things until it is too late.

Good for all of us who said NO to fraud!!

have called repeatedly (4 times) and continue to call when they have been asked to stop calling

hey.. you people are saying like its a scam.. but let me clear this thing to you that i was thinking the same when i received this call from this same number because i have never filled out a coupon at that time, but i believed that person (i don't remember his name) & i went to their Head Office at Drew Road, Mississauga..
at that Time i was thinking the same that it would be a Time Share Company but no.. no one force you to buy any thing.. you just have to be there for 60-90 mins in order to know about their company..!!!
when i followed the whole procedure & after drawing the prize i got a Television.. it was 42" Plasma Set powered by Toshiba..!!!
so, its not that kind of company..

This is a scam!! Watch out because you never knwo what they truly need you there for!! Whatever it is what company would give away free stuff without anything in return??  Who the heck can survive on not making money.  The person that call me today was John Michael with a very Indian or Pakistan accent.  Come on.......what indian/pakistan would have a english or italian like name????

Now first of all looks like they changed there address or they have more than one location.  I am curious to drive by and see what the heck is there.  Anyway I told him i would call him back if i was ever interested.  I have no interest in free things.  Working for things in life works fine with me!!

Never trust a company that does not have a website, does not give you info on what the ballot was for, does not give you info on the company on the phone and most of all tells you that you won a prize for nothing and free come and pick it up and leave.  give me a break!

The people calling are actually most likely calling through Internet Phones and are in Pakistan or India or China due to cheap labour.  That is why there is so much background noise when they call you.  It is a very large call center that they are calling from.  I am an internet marketer and provide outsourcing services (not off shore!!) and know how outsroucing works. Especailly off shore outsroucing.  I have many clients that come to me and tell me that they tried off shore and it was a horrible experieince.  So anyway do not give them time of day and tell them that you will call the police for harrassment.  i am sure they will leave you alone.

Its now the Woodbridge address again.

I listened to everything, since sometimes my uncle fills these things out, but was appalled that they knew my combined income. They asked me if I was 27-65 and I said no. They asked me again, and I said no again. They asked me again, and I said "do you want me to lie?" They said no, that I would be talking to a manager. When they finally transferred me to 'William Lee', 416-548-5983 x828, he told me to bring non-age info ID because if I bring ID that says I'm under 27 he could loose his job.

The address is now 6175 Highway 7, Unit 6, Woodbridge.

They even said they would hold while I called my husband to book a time for tomorrow, I just picked a time and then as soon as I put down the phone I googled F Source International and found this site. Definitely not going tomorrow!!!

I received the same call this morning only to go to Hwy 7 in Woodbridge.  I too was sceptical and at the end of it all seems I too was out the age range, however, they will deliver the prize of my choice right to my door.

Should I hold my breath?

just got the call now. when i *69 the number it was 9051581584. Sean the manager gave me his ext. 4165485984. Same scam that i field out a ballot, etc, during christmas time, But the funny thing is the wrong city and postal code they had. i live at the boarder of 2 towns so i could use either or city, postal but one takes longer than the order for mail to be delivered. they are probally using 411 to get everyone's information. this time located at 6175 hwy 7 unit 6 woodbridge major intersection hwy 7 & hwy 27

We got the same call this evening.  They were quite persistent and they were shocked that we questioned their company.  We even got a "supervisor" on the phone.  Their method of operation was exactly what was described above, and they are insistent that it is not a timeshare etc.  Unfortunately, we did make an appointment for pick-up of the prize and they have one of our cell phone #'s.  When they call back my plan is to let them know that if I receive another call both of the following things will happen:
1) I will be calling the police and registering a complaint for harassment.
2) The harassement will be turned back to them as I will be visiting the location but not to collect a prize.  As Russell Peters likes to say, "Someone gonna get hurt real bad!".

I understand what they are doing is under the umbrella of the law, but it is a colossal waste of time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

got a call from these guys telling me they had a ballot filled out my me from Dec 2009. I was apparently the winnner of one of 5 grand prizes including a Toshiba 42" flat screen, alaskan cruise and $1500 cash. All I had to do was show up with my husband for a 60-90 minute 'prize giveaway ceremony'. even asked me if my car was big enough in case I chose the furniture!! Then quickly said, oh. no, its OK the company will pay for delivery.
They asked me to choose a time and gave me a confirmation number. Then my husband came home and laughed in my face whe I told him about it. We went online and could find nothing, not one thing on the name 'ontario source international'. Googling the address brought me to this page.
Needless to say, we won't be going to the appointment.

Their company name is now  ontario international, Hyw 7 and 27. his number is 289 4755451 ext. 828. Honestly who can have free prizes with this recession.... The fact that they wanted two pieces of ID made me suspicious, I had not even filled out any form... these guys should go to hell and burn......

they keep herrasing me even though I asked them to stop calling me.  Over and over.
