This number has called me twice today, once yesterday...one more call and they get the whistle in the ear treatment.

These guys are what I refer to as Pita...Pain In The A$$.  Third day in a row they have called my B.C home phone at about the exact same time.  Thank goodness for call display.  I don't answer then I googe the phone number and get brought to a site like ths that confirms "it's jut another obe of those Pita calls".

we receive phone calls from this number several times a week.  there is never an answer and the phone hangs up.  

Called the Home number of Sam today  1-[removed] after receiving another call from 1-416-640-3489  and left a message to be removed from their call list. One hour later got a call back from Sam stating that he would call the police if I called his home again. I stated that I tried to call back the 640-3498 number only to hear that the voice mail was full. So left with no other option called him at his home the same way his company was calling my home.  I also told him that I was going to continue to call his home after every call I received from his company. I did not threaten him or his family nor would I but did inform him that I would get the word out that I have a lot of friends ie this site hopefully the calls stop. Please feel free to share this info as you deem necessary.

Canada does have a 'do not call' list, but as with the American one, it is only covered by our laws, not yours.  This is why I continually get calls from American numbers - your laws only pertain to the US of A, not to other countries.
