These people call me every 2  weeks usually I hang up this time I asked for their company name and once I got it I told them I was reporting them to Police and he asked me my name and said he would like to come to my house and F*$* me. I called the Police and they told me this person is not representing anyone but trying to get your credit card information. Once you agree to the duct cleaning they want you to give them credit card info. He is a Pa**ie and the call center is in India, unfortunatly nothing can be done. I recommend just hanging up each time he calls or lay the phone down and go sweep your floors or go for a drive. He will eventually hang up. SCUMBAGS.

they called re duct cleaning service, he did not care that i am on the government administered 'NO call' list. The CRTC is absolutely uselss in dealing with this criminal matter.I am at the point where i will call the RCMP next time. There must be a solution to these annoying calls.

Received calls on Nov. 17 2009 at 7:45 pm on two separate phone numbers that are on the do not call list.
They changed the calling line ID to 416-800-0000.
He was trying to sell duct cleaning.

ya same dumb guy in a fake accent called me atleast 3 times. I told him that my phone number is registered on do not call list and he was arguing that oh.. our company is registered and stuff... i told him to shut the F off and never call again.. i bet you they are calling from some call center in india..

This man keeps calling for duct cleaning, his name is Jack and he has become a stalker. He is Indian and I have asked this man to stop calling my house! he keeps calling! I believe they are in a call centre in India.. I am beyond angry at this point.  This man calls at 9pm, and he has called at least 2 times a month.  I have asked him very politely to stop calling we are not interested, this freak keeps calling and he will not stop! this is a complete invasion of my privacy and these people have no respect! this has to stop!

This guy called me five times in one day.  I was so annoyed that I called Ontario Duct Cleaning and explained what was going on.  They said that some creep was using their business name and trying to pull some kind of scan of some sort.  If you are on his call list please contact Ontario Duct Cleaning and the police to make a report.

He just called our house, even though we are on the do not call list, and called my husband a motherf---er after he asked to be removed from their list.

I got the address from Bell.  It's a Rogers # (I'm calling them right now).

There is an alternate # 416-233-0047.  We'll see what happens when I call them.

I had the same thing happen to me last night.  The male caller refused top give up, told me to "Go to hell" and "Go f myself" .  I hung up on him and he called my house again and did the same thing again.  I freaked out, told him to stop calling me and that I was filing a report with the police.  

He hung up, only to call me back 4 hours later (8 pm on a Sunday, it's illegal for telemarketers to call after 6 pm on a Sunday in Ontario).  Told me to go to hell, then asked why I was filing a report with the police (who I was waiting to return my call so I could file the complaint).  I didn't answer him. but said "what's my address?" when he proceded to tell me I said "that's good enough for me, I'm calling the police again.  Do not call back here).  Beleive it or not, he called one more time.  I lost my mind on him and hung up.  That's the last I've heard from him.

I got in touch with the police, the CRTC, and Bell Canada (my service provider) to find out whotheya re and file a complaint.  I decided to look them up and found this thread.  I'm glad I'm not the only one who's received the call.

Call your local non-emergency police service if they call you.  

Here's the CRTC number to file a complaint 1-877-249-2782 (if within Canada) and put  yourself on the DNCL list, at which point if they keep calling the police are able to step in and file an investigation.

If they try to attempt to get your SIN or CC number call Phone Busters who deal with telemarketing scams (Google the number, I don't have it on hand).

I answered my telephone politely as I usually do to an "Unknown Name" caller.
They were offering Duct Cleaning Services, again, the company was not Specified.
I had said No Thanks, Not Interested, Etc... a few times. Then suddenly the male caller started being extremely verbally abusive as to why I don't want to use their services and then he ranted and raved using EXTREME profanity and then making threats to me and my family, this went on for a couple of minutes. I did not hang up right away because I was curious and wanted to hear what this guy would say and waste his time till he gave up, he did.
To say the least I am stunned that anyone could be that way.
I have read about other callers on other phone numbers that were abusive and had my doubts about the statements but unfortunately it is true.

I seriously doubt that this was a true telemarketer because they have "some" standards, so it must have been someone or some group scamming for personal information.

Obviously I tried to call back the number and big surprise the phone number was not in service. The connection of the call was poor it sounded like it was going over a VOIP connection from some far off country. As you know anyone with the knowledge can make fake numbers, tomorrow it may be a different number, it is not like the old days anymore. I have heard that the authorities can do very little about tracing these calls because of the way the routing info is handled, unless someone knows better and can tell me???

I am not too concerned about the call, they are hopefully far away in some other country fishing for personal information which they will never get from me. My only concern is that they can look up my phone number in the phone book. Maybe it is time to get an unlisted number, but that won't help either if they dial numbers sequentially. Be Careful.
