PS  2 real clue to this scam.  1) I did not enter a contest. 2) the date on the check is before the date of the alledged winnings.

Got the same one on 2/25/09.
Same number, everything.

Received the same letter in the mail on March 6, 2009, with the exact same information.  I called back on my cell phone and the recording states that the subscriber is unavailable at the moment, please try again letter, then it repeats a message in French, then disconnects the call.

I received a letter and a check as described by Michael Turner. Exactly the same claim number and everything. Another scam!
