Text message.  From non-existent company.

I have been receiving the same calls.  1st of Gainesville.  Same about credit card.  It's a scam. but who do you report it to.  Don't respond to entering a debit card or credit.card.

Also received two text messages on 10/15 which makes me mad since I have to pay for texts.

Received 2 texts within 10 mins. Both said "Call 1-416-848-4194. Credit Union". When I called the number, U received an automated, generic message that said my "card" had been deactivated due "technical issues". I was told to enter my account number to "reactivate" my card. I hung up immediately. My husband and I called the number later in the evening, then again today, we received another short automated message that said "this extension is no longer available". SCAM!!!!

Same here it's a scam !

Got a text message on my cell phone today.  It said "Call 4168484194 Credit Union".  I called the number and got a static recording saying something about my MasterCard. Then it told me to I enter my 16 digit MC number.  I didn't do it.  I figure it must be a scam.

I got a recording about verifying a credit card I do not own - as if security had been violated.

I also think it is a scam, I received two text messages back-to-back saying to call this number. It had 1st of Gainesville in the comment section.

Assuming a scam, as received a text asking to call this number with the comment "Credit Union"
