It is a marketing research firm. They were polite when I told them I was too busy.

Also got this number on call display. I am a TD customer so it looks like TD is bothering people with pone solicitors.

Got a call from 4168506149 and no one was on the other end of the phone.  I called back and it just kept ringing.  I think it's a scam.  Watch out.

Got a call from this number on my personal phone asking about my work phone and if i was still with fido? (personal # not with or ever been with Fido) Just changed over work phone to telus from fido a week ago. Why call me on my personal phone when you want to inquire about my work phone?????

Got a call form this number, it ringed just once and then disconnected.

Guy called and asked for the head of the household. I told him there was no head of my household. Then he asked to speak to whoever has the most control. I replied that nobody has the most control and that my husband and I have an equal partnership. This seemed to frustrate him, so he said "have a nice day" and hung up. If he calls again, I'm putting my kid on to talk to him. He runs everything around here anyway.

Called three times did'nt answer. Each time after a deposit was made.

To the previous poster who said to simply contact TD and ask to be on a do not call list - THIS IS INSANE. No one should have to have the burden of this action placed on them. The better idea is to sue TD for it in a class action. THat way all this stuff would cease and FAST. Anyone who thinks they shoul dbe nice about it is a fool. There is so much of this stuff these days due to the lazy attitude of people. So unless you want call centres with the lowest forms of life calling and asking personal information - do something about it. I'm currently in legal proceedings for such things and boy does the attitude change when you sue. If the courst heard case after case yu can bet something would be done about policy. But people wo think they can just be placed on a do not call list ... that isnt action - its being a coward.

Annoying Call centre.

I got a call from them yesterday, it was a person doing a survey for TD asking if I had used the easyline service recently.

My caller ID showed "ETOBICOKE" (that's a 'burb of Toronto, CA. They called last night same time as "TORONTO,ON". Same #. Don't answer. I'm listed as a "NATIONAL DO NOT CALL" #.

So much for that Happy HS.

Just got a call... didnt asnwer cause i have no reception here, called back on a landline and got somethign like a busy signal.  Its more like an 'out of service' tone cause its faster then a busy signal.

Got a call from this number two days ago. When I picked up they hang up without saying a word. Can not call back, the line is always busy.

Assume telemarketing but weird time to call esp. during Xmas holidays. Have called a number of times over the past month since I started using my number. I never answer or sometimes pick-up quickly and disconnect.

Got a call from the same number tonight, they asked for my daughter who's away at college, butchering the pronunciation of her name (which always makes me suspicious).  The odd thing is they claimed to be from Citibank, not TD bank...

Someone called me from this same number.  My dad answer the phone and told them to call back 'cause I wasn't home.  I tried to call this number but it was busy all the time.  Who are these people, how did they get my number and what do they want from me?

My husband received a call tonight.  The caller asked for me and he told them I wasnt here, they wanted to know when I would be back.  I have tried to call the number back and I get a recording that all circuits are busy.  Who are these people????

This is a marketing agency doing surveys for TD Canada Trust - when you have spoken to a rep using Easy-line it auto generates a call back from this firm.   If you do wish to do these surveys you can tell TD to put your name and contact information on their in house do not call list.

Those jokers called me today.  They didn't speak after I said hello once.  I've just blacklisted them from any further annoyance.  Thanks for those who reported this too.  Made my decision to blacklist them that much easier.
