We keep getting calls from this number 800-688-7070--I have told them not to call--they are rude and I don't know what to do to get rid of them--they are like a BAD DISEASE!

I have asked them to identify themselves and they refuse.  We do not bank with this company and I have no idea how they got our name and number.  HELP!!!

My caller ID identifies them as First National Bank 800-688-7070, but we do not have a credit card with them--to our knowledge.

HOW DO WE GET RID OF THESE CALLS--THEY CALLED YESTERDAY AND AGAIN THIS MORNING WAKING ME UP!!!!

2/8/12 THIS NUMBER CALLED MY HOME 9 TIMES TODAY BETWEEN 12:40 AND 2:49PM, LOOKING BACK THEY CALLED JUNE, AUGUST AND DECEMBER 2011. IT IS A TELEMARKETER WHY WOULD  FIRST NATIONAL BANK HAVE ANY CONNECTION WITH THEM ?? DONT ANSWER AND DONT GIVE THEM ANY INFO. I HAVE AN ILL FAMILY MEMBER IN MY HOME AND SIMPLY CANNOT HAVE THE PHONE RINGING LIKE THIS. PLEASE TELL ME WHO I CAN CALL TO GE THIS STOPPED.. I APPRECIATE ANY HELP. I WILL CHECK BACK ON THIS SITE. Yes...  Many Caller ID devices will erase earlier calls from the same number, and only list the latest call received.

Who is this number? It was on our caller ID at 573-495-2447. I do not want this.

I called back the number 800.688.7070 it is in fact First National Bank of Omaha.  I asked the young lady what they need from me and was told it was a call soliciting a Discover card issued by FNBO.  I asked politely to place my phone number on their internal do not solicit list.  The agent affirmed she would.

Stop calling me! I have told you this before. I got a credit card from FNBO and cancelled it before I even used it. I was recieving calls for my credit card before I even got the card in the mail. I have told you to stop before. I do not have an account with you so you have no business calling me. If it happens again I will record the call and forward to the FCC and the DO Not Call Registry.

I too received a call from 800.688.7070 today.  They were selling used copies of old Barbra Streisand
albums. I don't even have a record player anymore as I converted to CD's years ago.  What kind of nonsense is this.  Additionally I hate Streisand's music.

First National of Omaha, wanting to send me a new Discovery credit card - - didn't want to take NO for an answer.  Finally told them 'NO is NO' and never call me again.  Discovery is getting desperate - I get no less than 2 mail offerings a week for their credit card or personal loan.

I just called FNBO and they were very helpful on the phone and removed my name from their telemarketing companies immediately. Said it would take about 24 hours for it to register not to call us.  Not 6-8 weeks. Hopefully this will work. We will see.

The call I received from this nuimber   800.688.7070  was a soliciation for the Barbra Streisand
CD of the month club.  I don't even own a sterero........jeesh

I researched this number (800-688-7070) on the internet and found out that it is connected to your telemarketing companies.  I do not want to do business with ANY of your companies.

I am on the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.  I have received numerous calls from this number at odd times of the day and night - A VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW.

Please remove my number from your telemarketing companies' lists immediately.

Any future calls from this number or any other telemarketer representing your company will be reported to the FCC.

I get these too. It most likely IS First National Bank of Omaha because this company handles credit cards for many other banks.  Since you likely have their credit card, they do legally have the right to call you, even if you are on DO NOT CALL LIST.  They are also VERY active at telemarketing.

I recommend that you log into your credit card account which is likely here:

And send them a message saying that you want to be added to their DO NOT CALL list.  Do not block their number, because if there is a genuine problem with your credit card, you want them to be able to get a hold of you.

I called them back and their outgoing message said welcome to credit card services and asked if I was an existing customer would I like to transfer funds, increase my credit limit, make a payment or close the account. They did not identify the name of their company. Anyway, I selected close my account. They wanted the last four digits of my SS number and my credit card number. I entered ficticious numbers and was being transferred to a representative. I hung up cause I didn't want to talk to anyone. Wow. They must accept any numbers you enter. They called again today and I just let it go to voicemail.

I finally lost it. They call at least 10 times a day. PMS,  I picked up the phone and told them, (can't use the words i used) that if they didn't take my number off their list , I'm recording every call and taking them to court and i reported them to fcc.

Daily calls from 1-800-688-7070.  When I let it go to answering machine, it's a hang up call.

I called the 1800-688-7070 and spoke with some representative who instructed me to call local police dept. as it is a scam according to them. I called the police and I was told to use the *57 (on Verizon) to trace the number and the Phone company will collect info. automatically.

I'm starting to get phone calls from this number 800-688-7070 states it's unavailable and doesn't leave a message.  I love caller ID.  It's awful to be on the do not call list and still get phones.  What's the point of having the list????

I just cancelled my card with First National Bank of Omaha and now for the past two days in a row I've had missed calls from this number - they do not leave a voicemail.

Got a call this morning and they would not id themselves

I put this number on my block list, but they still get through. When I try to "Block  the Last Caller" on my Call Screener it says the last number is not available!  I then found out at 800notes that the call my be originating at 954-907-0000. That's in Broward County, Florida.
I have a card at First National of Omaha, but why would they work so actively to defeat Call Screeners? I would just as soon cut up the card before giving them another cent of business, if they're doing this.
It could easily be a scam!

ANSWER - downloaded little program called PhoneTray... IT IS FREE and they have purchase addition - I USE the FREEBIE - WONDERFUL WONDERFUL WONDERFUL...  This little program intercepts any CALL I want - number or no number - Blocked or not - it then plays a little blurb of whatever I want - beep-beep-beep - I'm sorry, the number you have reached no longer exists... or GO #()$#)#)$*)*$# YOURSELF and STOP CALLING... OR it can make some nasty annoying SOUNDS - or whatever you want - WE DO NOT ACCEPT CALLS FROM THE NUMBER YOU ARE DIALING...

I do NOT work for or even know who invented this little program but THEY ARE THE COOLEST.  IT will deal with the boneheads calling and it keeps a LOG.  You only need a computer with a modem that has voice capabilities which most all do these days - down load it - double click it - set it up and DONE.

As folks call - you can adjust it to add their names so you always know who is calling if the number is BLOCKED - they get treated with a ZAP response of YOUR CHOICE - "caller out of area" ZAP - your choice -

IT IS A GREAT PROGRAM... I don't know if it could work with cell phones but I use it for our land-lines and that ZAP is great - it makes you SMILE when the idiots call because it will ZAP them automatically or alert you to do it manually - ZAP...  they hang up real quick...
