I received a letter from these people with a check for 2,490 saying this was my first installment of a 15,000 prize I won and like a dummy I put this check into my account and was scammed out of the funds.I warn any and everybody to rip up any letters you receive from these people. The guys name was Sean Peterson who took my money. The phone number is still good the guy still answers the phone.

I received the same check for the same amount of money.  What scam are they trying to run?

In my opinion everyone is in on these scams from the phone company right down the banks and moneygram they're all are geeting a piece of the pie that's being passed around. Moneygram gives up money without proper ID, The phone company "Doesn't Know" who the phone line belongs to, The banks clear the check then turns around and charges you double the amount plus their fees on top of that, and yet when the scam is discovered you're held responsible as if it was you're idea all along. I have called this Sean Peterson numerous times and he pretends he can't hear me or he'll ask over and over who's this. One time he put the phone down and won't come back I can hear people talking in the background. It's unbelievable how people do this everyday and have no remorse. So Please people I say again rip those papers and checks up when you get them. Because to me no one seems to care that you have lost your money it's like their saying oh well! better you than me.

I hope to god u didnt fall for the scam like i did let any and everyone know dont fall for the bs. Im out of 3,300 and maybe even more. And the sad thing about the situation is no one will do anything to stop these people. They are getting rich by stealing from others.
