I usually don't give out my personal cell number and have no clue how and where they got my cell phone number.  I live in Edmonton.  Somehow this number is associated with another number 1-780-578-9898.  I wonder whether this is some kind caller breaking into Regers cell phone customer?

Recieved a phone call, ignored it. Called back less than a minute later and ignored it. No message. They used to call a lot more often, I SCREAMED at the lady on the phone one day to tell them to F-Off. This is the first time they've called back in months...

I received a call twice from this number on my cell. Stupid me, pressed 1, then they proceded to ask my name, then gave a speel about winning free airmiles for a trip to Florida etc. They asked if I had a credit card? I said no. Then they hung up! I thought was disconnected. Second time they called, pressed 1 again to catch them, did not give my name & told them straight out I don't have a credit card right way to see what would happen...Well....first I heard laughing, then they did truly hang up, caught there trick! Will put them on blocked calls in my phones!......Beware & tell others!!

My wife and I are sitting in our rental car waiting for a friend and she received a call from 1-778-263-8989 telling her she had won 2600 airmiles, she hung up on the recording. Less then 5 minutes later I receive a call from 1-416-939-8787 telling me I had won 2600 airmiles and I hang up.

Just 2 hours ago we rented this car from Budget car rental on HWY 97 in Kelowna, BC. They had asked us for our airmiles card. They also asked both of us for our contact numbers. Has anyone been called from one of these numbers after renting a car through Budget or is this just a coincidence that we'd both be called shortly after providing our numbers to Budget.

Just received a call from this number. I usually do not answer calls from numbers not recognized but answered this one. It was an automated call informing me I had been chosen to receive airmiles. I didn't listen to the rest; hung up.

I have recieved 3 calls form an Ontario number.  Please remove my number from your call list, as I dont not want to recieve anymore calls from this number.  Once I pick up, there doesn't sem to be anyome on the line .

Rec'd call at 4:00 pm, Aug 1. Quote: "This is Airmiles Canada. You have been chosen to receive 2,600 free Airmiles. Press 1 to accept." I just waited for about 20 seconds to see what would happen and it hung up.

Got a call from this number twice: one after another in 3 second intervals, rang for a split second and hung up before I could answer (which I wouldn't have).

I just got a msg from the number and no msg left and called it back and it stated the cellular number is not assigned

Got a call from this number on my cellphone in alberta. Missed the call and there was no message. Says five hours ago.

Got I call from this number but I never answer my cell phone unless I know who is calling

I received a call today like a dummy i pressed on and some jerk started yapping about promotions
i said i am working this better be legit he hung up.  I called back but the number is not registered.

Calgary: Received a call from this number on my cell phone today. I answered because I have friends and family in Toronto and thought the number looked familiar. Recorded message told me I would receive air mile points. I hung up.

And after finally stopping those annoying calls from 204-944-0844 from a supposed collection agency!!

just called me.  hung up as soon as i heard that 'recorded voice'...

I did recive a call aswell off course I did not answer. May be is from one of those companies tha for a  subscripcion paid they tell you who's callin you., isn't that a good  busisness. Hey goverment wake up!!!

I got a call from this number today. Thank you to everyone who posted info here.

They have phoned my landline and fax number several times a day for the last couple of weeks. Nice way to spend a holiday, resting and letting the phone ring and ring and ring. I don't answer these.

I have done research on that National do not cal list, Companies can actually buy numbers from them. Since I put my numbers on that list I have had ten times more calls.
