I phoned back to see who it was.  They allowed me to leave a message requesting to be removed from their list and that was that.

Same with us and getting annoyed.  Also feeling less charitable.

Plan Canada, calls every day sometimes more than once a day. I contacted Plan to complain and they told me they would remove my phone #, this was done on Jan 13Th this is the 20Th and still the calls continue. I support this charity already but this is unreal and trying my nerves, nearing my breaking point.

I keep getting this number showing up on my call display to (1-416-946-1625).  I havent answered it yet, and i wont. I hate those damn solicitors, because i dont know anyone in Toronto.  Best thing to do is pu that number on your Block list, as i am going to do, if your Phone company has that feature.

They call at all hours and several times a day. No message left.
Stop already! Who gets paid to do this anyway? If this is a charity I'll make sure not to support it anymore. Someone said Plan but last time I answered it sounded like Mustard Seed... could they be all using the same company to do their marketing?

Yes, they are persistent and annoying and calling Plan Canada doesn't stop it, nor does requesting they stop when you answer the line. I'm thinking if I cancel my support they might get the message. Presumptuous, disrespectful and I already have a number of other charities I happily support who don't do this. Called several times this week.

Call. Didn't answer, but checked number here.  Am a supporter of Plan, but do NOT WANT phone calls and have told them so.

Or you could answer and ask to be put on their do not call list

We have been getting about 2-3 calls a day (throught the last few days) from this number which is displayed as unknown.  Great to know who they are as we have not been answering.   Also we dropped out of this organizatiion several years ago and do not want to be involved with their approach.

Constant calls at least twice a day. No answer - just a machine

Received the first call on Sept 02.  As I have call display and there was no name given did not answer.  Will monitor how frequently they call

Same over here, every day at aprox. same time and no message left. Getting annoyed a little :) well not nice really as no message gets no call back nor support.

This number calls me at LEAST once, and usually twice per day and have been doing so for weeks now!   There's GOT to be a way to block it UGH...  My only other alternative is to change my cell number with no guarantee of them not getting the new number, too :-(

They call 2-3 times a day. No body speaks on reply and just gets disconnected.

These people are calling my house and my cell phone between 3-4 times a day for at least a month now but have never left a message. This is beyond harrassment! I finally decided to see who they were by googling them. Now I'm mad!

I got 2 calls from this company, as well. I used to support children through Foster Parents. As a rule, call centers don't leave messages.

They just called yet again - at 8:30am on Saturday morning.  On behalf of all of us who sleep in on Saturday morning, I am not impressed.

Just got a call from them. They claim to be a company called "Inspire" calling on behalf of Plan Canada. I politely told them I wasn't interested and that was that.

For the past month they've called my number on a daily basis, even on weekends. They leave a blank voicemail message so I have to listen to it in order to erase it.  I can't believe they treat people who already are donating to foster children in this manner.  I mean at least leave a message and give me a number to call so I can tell you my answer.  Not a good business practise

They called me 3 times in the last 6 days. I finally answered to make them go away. They wanted to encourage me to increase my sponsorship in Plan-Canada due to "need".  I declined. I'm not a fan of persistent cold calls - they were very aggressive.

me too...Plan Canada used to be known as Foster Parents Plan...guess they changed the name.  They are very persistent! :(
