today is 11-20-07. i get these calls to my cell phone constantly. i don't know if this is the same number but i keep getting calls from 618-373-5070. i am in illinois. i googled this number and came to this website, because when i tried searching it on the reverse white pages of www.whitepages.com it comes up "unpublished or unavailable". i actually have got voice mails from this number, asking for "mary ann accord". it is starting to get on my nerves.

5-14-08, got call on my cell phone from 1-800-373-5070, asking for a Danita Jackson.  Do not know who this is.

These calls need to stop! You still call them and talk to them and the calls continue up to 9 at night.PLEASE STOP bothering the people who are laid off and trying to do the best they can for what they have to work out. Called trying to get me to accept the new Wells Fargo Stage Coach Credit Card.
I have told them I am not interested several times but they won't give up. Mrs. Jane Madison got very rude when I told her I did not want the card. I'm thinking of filing a complaint over her rude comments. I really don't need the abuse !  Stick your Stage Coach where the sun don't shine !!!!

They call constantyly and my cell phone.  They are driving me crazy.  Sometimes 5 and 6 times a day.

This call is from some bank, which will probably fail anyway. they first call with a 515 area code, then they hang up and call with 800, 866, or 877 number with their name blocked. They shall remain nameless in this forum.

they called on the 9th and the 10th. Both calls on my cellphone, which I never give out to businesses. I didn't pick up either.

I got calls from 800-373-5070.  Wells Fargo Financial Services changed their payment address so my automatic bill pay would not go through.  They put the change in their normal statement as normal text instead of doing anything more obvious like huge bold letters they tend to use for selling something.

Since I am disabled and lack the time to constantly read tons of normal print looking for changes I think they change payment addresses so they can then charge late fees, like federal bailout was not enough for their greedy industry.

If I had known how evil they were then I would never have borrowed to start because their harassment makes me want to picket local locations with their name, which I may do if I can not get more important things done because it takes little effort to hold a picket sign while sitting in an electric wheelchair.

I don't know what this call is about. I don't want to know because I don't want anymore bills than I already have. If they want to contact me send me a letter as to what this is all about.

Forgot to make a payment...

Don't ever get a credit card through Wells Fargo.  They will harass you... it doesn't matter what your account status is, they will call you nonstop, at work or at home.  Because of this, I have moved my accounts to a different bank, and decided upon a different company when getting my mortgage as well.  WF is a lousy company, and it's a shame that we bailed their loser a$$es out!

It's Wells Fargo and their greedy, inconsiderate employees. They called here at 7:30 on Mother's Day. This bank is greedy to a fault. In 2005 my wife's former husband needed a cash loan. At the time he was a homeowner, but instead of giving him a home owner advance, Wells Fargo refinanced his recently purchased GM financed new car as a "used car," increasing the interest from 5 percent to 11 percent, extending the loan to six years. As a result, he ended up paying ten thousand dollars in interest on a $1,700 cash advance. When this was later brought up to the bank, its rep said, "Well, he signed the contract." I hear that Wells Fargo is the next bank to fall on the chopping block. They deserve it.

I have asked Wells Fargo to remove me from their calling queue repeatedly and they do not. They are asking for someone I don't know, but obviously gave WF my cell and my 10 and 8 year old's cell  numbers. They are burning through our minutes like wildfire. This is ridiculous.  They call me from like 7 different numbers at least 4 or five times a day on all of the cells in my household.  I don't even have an account with Wells Fargo Financial.

They keep calling my husband - on MY PHONE!  Then when I answer and won't give the phone to him (just to piss them off), they tell me that they can't tell me anything about why they want to talk to him or anything.  So I told her, you won't tell me anything; you can't talk to him CLICK

SAME ISSUE. everday, 15 min apart often, all hours, waking me up, including sundays. They won't stop.

they won't listen. I told them the same thing, gave them a number to call but got ignored. They are calling me every day nearly 15 min. apart all hours, waking me up including sunday. i DO NOT want to turn my  phone off due to their harrassment, or answering machine, so they are an issue that I reported to the BBB.

I am late with a payment as well and Wells Fargo is calling me every hour from 8 a.m. 'til 9 p.m. on my cell phone, seven days a week. I tell them the same thing over and over, I will catch up when I can. I now just ignore the call and don't answer.

They start calling every morning at around 8:30 and then call 5 to 6 times during the course of the day. They won't leave a message on the machine. The last few times I picked up the phone and yelled at the caller to take my number off the list and they hang up on me, but the calls continue.

They have been calling my work several times a day.  I am not allowed to take personal calls at work so it is frustrating.  Please stop!

Once you get in their system they won't leave you alone. They just keep calling & calling.

Generally, the TCPA does not apply to debt collectors making collection calls to debtors. However, if you are subjected to calls from a debt collector and you are not the debtor, you may file a lawsuit against the debt collector under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the TCPA.

This right was recently recognized by Judge Legrome D. Davis in a case called Watson v. NCO Group, Inc.  NCO Group is a debt collector that uses automated prerecorded collection calls.  In this case, Mr. Watson alleged he was getting hundreds of calls from NCO Group after he got a new phone number. Mr. Watson claimed he owed no debt to NCO Group, Inc.  Mr. Watson filed suit under both the FDCPA and TCPA.

David Israel, defense lawyer for NCO, argued that the TCPA should not apply to debt collectors.  Judge Davis rejected the argument made by David Israel. The judge ruled that Mr. Watson had a right to sue NCO Group Inc under the TCPA for $500 for each call.  Judge Davis wrote;

[The] Court is convinced that a non-debtor's rights are in fact violated when he is subjected to repeated annoying and abusive debt collection calls that he remains powerless to stop.

Judge Davis' ruling was based upon his interpretation that collection calls to non-debtors violate the privacy rights provided by the TCPA.  

So what can you do if you receive "wrong number" calls from debt collectors?

1. Sign up for the Do-Not-Call registry.
2. Save the calls captured by your voice mail or answering machine.
3. Contact a consumer lawyer.

I get calls from these people all day long, every hour, sometimes two and three times an hour. They are looking for someone named James Larue Jenkins whom I know nothing about whatsoever. I have never done any bussiness with wells fargo. I am going to try and find ways to block these calls.
